I thought the show was good, but not amazingly good. The Cosby comment, very funny.
Mr Robinson had it's moments.

To me though, watching some of the skits was like watching the concert of an aging singer...going through the motions of singing all their greatest hits, but with little originality.

He was fantastic! The Cosby thing right out of the gate was perfect and told us the show would be great! It's a pleasure to see someone like him looking and doing great after all of these years. He barely looks older and didn't miss a beat.

Not sure if you ever saw the show Lois & Clark, but their version of Perry White was an Elvis fan. In one scene Jimmy Olsen asked him if he'd ever seen Elvis live, and White relayed that he saw him in Vegas in the 70s before he died. Said he was overweight, looked like he hadn't slept in days, and was clearly not the same Elvis of the 50s and 60s. Jimmy then said he must have been disappointed that his idol was in such decline, but the answer was that he considered it the greatest moment of his life when he saw Elvis play live.

Eddie was great though I thought the Velvet Jones bit on Jeopardy didn't age well. Would have traded that for a James Brown Celebrity Hot Tub routine.
