Who remembers watching this over and over. When I was in high school it must have played continually on cable. On any given night somebody was running it.

I lived in the "boonies" and didn't have cable access while growing up. We first saw Eddie and the Cruisers on a VIDEO DISC! LOL. I love the soundtrack from the movie and could have died and gone to heaven for Michael Pare (Eddie) at the time. That movie is up there with The Outsiders, another one from the video disc era, as one of my favorites.

Oh yes! Loved that movie! Of course now I'm going to have that song - On the Darkside - going through my brain all night! :)

Only in the 80's would that movie come out...

Seriously, that was a all time always playing on cable for a LONG time..

Here's a little tidbit of info on that movie. The school which is shown in exterior shots... my BIL went to the high school. It is Rancocas Valley High School, in Mt. Holly NJ.. (aka RV--yes like the camper!)

Tony Mart's the club they played in was right her in Somers Point. Also lots of street shots were here in Ocean City, NJ. I think this was on cable when cable first started going into lots of houses. It seemed like the only movie they had for awhile. Every time it comes on I think, hmm is Eddie really dead? LOL. I bought it on DVD to show the kids.

Not only did I watch it but I recorded it in 88 LOL and still have it on VHS. But then again I bought Nick Knight on DVD when it came out ( Rick Springfield oh yeah !) My husband is 10 years younger then I am and asked who Rick Springfield was !!!!!!

Wishing you many Disney Days

I remember that movie! I loved it!

Great movie and EXCELLENT soundtrack!! I saw it in the theater when it was first out :p

Loved that movie. My dad's friend own's the junkyard where the junkyard scene was filmed.

Gette, the cool one with all the sculptures? I think there's some sort of movement to have it preserved as a landmark.

Great Grade B flick! We've seen it over and over.

We used to hang at The Fast Lane and see Beaver Brown all the time.

Ah, the good ole days!

Mad4Mickey,
Where did you get Nick Knight on DVD? I still have it on a VHS tape from when it first aired on network tv!

I bought my Nick Knight at Best Buy . I see it on Ebay all the time though . It is only good if you love Rick :D my son is 15 and asked why there was not alot of blood in it since it was a vampire movie LOL . Do you remember the TV show ?
