ECVs and boats

I'm going to have to use an ECV when we visit WDW due to upcoming knee surgery and am wondering if we'll still be able to use the boats to get to MK? Any tips and hints would be gratefully received.

The Friendship boats that serve the BW area are accessible.

The boat from WL to MK is accessible depending on the water levels.

The boat that travels around the WS is accessible to ECVs, but not ones rented in the park (it has something to do with a design flaw).

Beyond that I don't know. There is a sticky at the top of disabilities board that covers using ECVs on all Disney transportation.

I know you can use the ferry from TTC to MK.

Several years ago some guests with ECV's could not get to MK by boat if the water levels were not right.
When that happened WL had to ask to have a bus sent to the WL to pick up the EVC users and take them to MK on those occasions.

A few years ago a bus was added to pick up guests at WL and go the MK.
So if the water levels are off and you cannot take the boat with your EVC you will still be able to get to the MK by bus.
