Last week we rented an electric scooter from Deckert Surgical - $40/day(714-542-5607) for DD's BF. Because he is only 17, we could not rent an ECV for him at DLR. Deckert staff were extremely nice and the scooter was delivered to our hotel prior to our arrival. They picked up the scooter at the hotel the morning after we left.
DD and BF received many compliments regarding their scooter! It was very sporty looking and could travel 2-3 times as fast as the DLR's ECVs. They could manuever through "after canceled fireworks" crowds and had no problems navigating thoughout the parks, DTD and GCH. It was a wonderful experience for DDs BF as he had not been to DL since his lower legs became paralyzed over 10 years ago and he hesitated in using a wheelchair. We would highly recommend Deckert for their exceptional service and quality product!
