ECV Rentals

My DBF and I are off to WDW in MArch. She has had a knee repalcement but also needs a total hip replacement. She is great with any ECV. Can any one recommend some local comapines for ECV rentals. Also we are staying at Jambo AKV then transferring to OKW.
Does anyone have any suggestions about getting the ECV from one resort to another? I thought that we would just go to the parks for the day and then go to OKW. IOf course we are renting a car so that means I would have to go back to AKV to pick up the car and luggage.

Post #2 of the disABILITIES FAQs thread has links and phone numbers for a number of companies off-site that rent ECVs. These are ones that DIS posters have reported good experiences over the years. All of the companies will deliver the ECV to your resort and then pick it up when you are done.

Your plan of going to a park for the day and then just taking the bus back to OKW is a good plan. You can also get ECVs that can be taken apart to fit into a car trunk. Since you have a car, that would be another option for you.
