Does anyone know if you can rent an ECV at one of the onsite hotels?

We have been planning our trip for 9/9 - 9/13 (staying at HOJO), and have just found out that I am likely to be having surgery within 2-3 weeks. If we actually make our trip, I will be in the in the 7th week of my 8 week recovery period (assuming no complications). :scared:

We will rent an ECV at Disneyland, however if it was a service one of the Disneland hotels offered we could upgrade to PP (thank you 4th night free!). :cool1: This would be substantially more expensive than the Entertainment card rate with HOJO, but could make a difference in our comfort level during the stay. The monorail is great, but walking from Tomorrowland to the Main Entrance just to rent the ECV would wear me out before the first ride, LOL! DH walks with a cane, so I don't want to wear him out either.

We are both so excited to get back to Disneyland, it was a huge pick-me-up for our family last year! :yay: This is our last chance to use our annual passes for the first time before they expire, so I am hoping to find a way to make this trip work for our kids. And I would rather cruise around Disneyland on an ECV than sit on my butt at home with a remote control :rolleyes1

Your best bet is to rent an ECV from a local company in Anaheim.
I'm sure someone on the boards will come along with places that are good to rent.:)
I've heard that it's fierce competition to rent one at the parks (waiting at gates to be first one in line), I don't think the Disney hotels have ECV's .. they may have wheelchairs for use on property.

We've rented from Deckert Surgical...$40/24 hour period and they deliver and pick up from the hotel.

We had to rent one for my GF who has knee problems, we rented from Century Medical Disneyland (562-280-2840)

They are 35 a day, and deliver to your hotel. They also are 105 for the week and a week is 3 - 7 days, so if you are staying for more than 3 days, its 105 and you have it the whole time. We got it for technically 5 days, they are even delivering it the night before we get there so it is there when we arrive at the hotel, we have not seen it but we choose them from other dis and micechatters reccomendations.
