ECV question

We're renting one at MK for the day and would like to go over to Territory lounge at WL or The Wave at the Contemporary for a break. Do we have to leave the ECV at the park or can we have it with us? We will be returning to MK. Thanks!

The ones rented from Disney in the park have to stay in the park. If you rent one offsite (from another company) you can use it most everywhere.
I think they will hold your Disney ecv for you until you come back tho.

They will not hold it for you, but if you save your receipt you will not be charged a second time (if one is available on return). In the past, the same receipt was good at all parks (basically a park hopper for the wheelchair/ECV).

They may or may not hold it for you - people have posted both.
It may depend on how busy it is and how long you intend to be gone.
I would count on it not being held.

Post 2 of the disABILITIES FAQs thread has information about renting ECVs and wheelchairs, both in the parks and from off-site rentals. As the other posters mentioned, the only way to guarantee one to use when and where you want it is to rent from off-site.
As was already mentioned, ECVs and wheelchairs rented in the parks can't be removed from the park and there is no guarantee any will be available to rent, especially if you arrive after 10:30 am.

When I was renting Disney ECVs once during a slow time of year they held one for me the next year same slow time of year they would not so don't count on it

Thanks everyone. Last time we rented from offsite, so we had one with us for our lounge breaks. I think we'll stay in the park this time since we'll be renting one at MK and have to have it the whole day.
