ECV for Disneyland

Couple of questions I will need to stay on for most rides as transferring will be difficult, so would I be better off with an ecv or with a chair with wheels set up?
Where is the best place to rent from? I know that I will probably have to meet them and not have them leave it at the desk.

Are you staying on property? If so, here's some research I did earlier this year, on a few scooter companies I've seen mentioned for Disneyland. If you're not staying at one of the Disney hotels, you can contact these companies to see if they deliver to your location.

In case this information could be helpful to anyone else, I spoke with a few of the outside scooter rental companies I've seen mentioned on the DIS and here's what I found if you're staying at a Disney resort.

Select Scooter Rental https://anaheimscooters.com/ 714-644-8057 Will meet you at your hotel for dropoff and pickup. Hours are between 8 am and 3 pm.

D&R Mobility Scooter Rental https://dandrmobility.com/ 714-883-8761 Will meet you at your hotel for dropoff and pickup. Sounds like business hours are doable, but they will discuss options once you know what time you need the scooter.

One Stop Mobility https://www.onestopmobility.com/disneyland/ 714-533-1444 will meet you at your hotel for dropoff and pickup. Hours are between 8am and 8pm, with 2-hour windows (e.g., 8-10am). They will call you when they are close to your hotel.

To answer your first question, an ECV will give you a lot more independence, and your family and/or friends won't have to push you in a wheel chair. Disneyland seems flat, but it really isn't. My DH pushed his mom in a wheel chair and blew out his knee.

Have you ever used a power chair (the second one)? I don't know about California, but in Florida it may be more difficult to rent a power chair since they are more difficult to learn how to use. Some companies won't rent you a power chair unless you have experience using them. I would recommend an ECV, you can try them out at your local grocery store or big box store. Much shorter learning curve.

Which of these would you actually recommend?

I don't have any experience with these companies yet, I've always used Deckert Surgical in the past, but the owner retired and they're not in business any more. I'm planning to use one of the companies I listed on my next trip, so I can report back in a few months.

I chose these because they had several mentions on the Disneyland forum here, you can search by their name to find some previous mentions/experiences.
