ECV at Hotels

Hi, weill be staying at the Coronado and my MIL will have an ECV. Can they be stored in the hotel room or do they have a storage spot in the lobby for them?

First of all an ECV will easily fit into any of the moderate rooms. You might have to move a table or chair to get a convenient parking space where you can easily plug in the charger.

And the Coronado is so spead out that it is quite a distance from any room to the lobby. And all buildings have outside corridors that wrap around the building so there is no place where you can leave it outside the room anyway.

I'm thinking fire codes wouldn't let you leave them out in hallways anyways - they'd block escape access, wouldn't they?

Keep in mind that the scooter is your responsibility for the time you have it. If something happens to it while it's stored in a luggage room or even outside your room most scooter companies will ask for compensation. The resort will not take responsibility for the equipment.
