EBTA 2014...Across the Atlantic we go!!!

We have decided to not be on this cruise...
Would have been cool to do our third TA but the porttimes and ports weren't all that super to us.

So we have decided to bail out on this cruise and now we are doing a Trans Pacific cruise (Sudney - Honolulu) so that's all nee to us.

I know that you all will have a fantastic time on this cruise!!!

Sorry you have jumped ship but I do understand why. Nothing really very exciting on this cruise though we haven't been to Malaga yet. Just 2 more days added and we could have visited a couple of more interesting ports. Though knowing DCL they would probably just be St Maarten and St Thomas as usual We love sea days so could just happily set off out to sea for 2 to 3 weeks and return!!

Enjoy your Trans Pacific cruise. I would love to do something like that one day.

Me too. Long time DIS-er, but have never gotten onto Facebook.

Initially it was our DD who FORBADE me from joining, because she is active on there, and, of course, didn't want her mom to be doing the same stuff she was into.

But with so much happening planning-wise on there, I just have to take that big step and get on there, since I am the family planner.

10:00 am (It’s the time DCL assigns for the Private room group brunches)

If you are interested please PM me your names and party size. I will request full names and reservation numbers before I send in our request. We can have a minimum of 12 and a maximum of 14 for each. I'm trying to keep each group around 12-13 for comfort. I will add to the groups on a "first come, first served basis". I will put in our request to DCL in March after the last group’s booking window opens. I believe for First time cruisers that is March 5, 2014 We should receive confirmation 30 days before we sail.

*Once the Group Brunch is confirmed any reservation an individual holds for a Palo Brunch will be cancelled since you can only have 1 reservation for brunch and 1 for dinner before boarding. You can request another once on board.*

Was in Seasons last year, but where DCL wants us..

Join the other ladies for fun, drinking champagne and chatting. Here's how it works when I do it:

I request a room for a Champaign Tasting from DCL. All the ladies attending are required to wear pink. Pink shirts, tiaras, pink boas, and pink flowers for your hair . We will take a group picture that will be very pink. We will "taste," "drink," "guzzle" and consume all the champagne while discussing it and many other things. It's a fun, fun way to spend an hour on a sea day.

That is our DS's 19th birthday, so I think he will probably want to just celebrate with us.

Madeira is such a beautiful island it is worth doing a tour of some sort. View points round every corner. It is also a very 'floral' island and I would think May would be a great time to go to the Botanical Gardens if you are interested in such things. Or, at least going up the cable car to see the views even if you don't go down the sled ride.

One good thing about Madeira is the free public Wifi in a part of the town centre. You will see people sitting with their laptops so you will know where, but there are signs on the walls etc. This tells you where.

I think we are going to do the "Madeira Culture and History" tour. We tend to stick to the DCL excursions.

By the way, have any of you Platinum or Concierge folks been able to book a cabana on Castway Cay? I was looking online, and while there are a lot of other rentals available, I don't see ANY cabanas.
