EBTA 2014...Across the Atlantic we go!!!

I'm hoping our bodies adjust better to the time change if we are headed over more slowly. Although, United had a great flight from Washington DC to Heathrow which left at 9am and arrived at 10pm London time. That had to have been the best flight to Europe thus far because you get there and sleep. I hate feeling sick and exhausted when I arrive there in the morning (as most flights do) and either have to stay up all day or sleep and not adjust as quickly. Hopefully, taking the cruise helps with the time change.

If I could find a similar flight to Spain next April, I would be thrilled.

Well there are a few of us already traveling solo/ solo with kids so you'll have lots of us to hang out with.
How old are your kids again?

I think the time chnage is more gradual this way but I believe you still feel it. I usually arrive in the UK and crash for 3-4 hours just to aclimatize myself.

Booking another Disney visit with my boys this May... after next year, I will have spent my last 3 birthdays at WDW :)

DS will be 9 (10 in the June) and DD will be 11

My girls are 9 and 11 :) Julianna (11) would love another girl her age to hang out with for the 12 days.

I hope whatever you want is the way it turns out :)

Bummer about the time change. I was hoping to hit DLP running, but maybe with a day or two extra, we will be ok. We had 3 nights in Paris (4 days) before we ventured over to DLP last time. Those first few days, we were exhausted. Maybe the excitement of Crush's Coaster will help get us moving and adjusted. That is my favorite ride thus far:love:

Yes it is :bday:

Just booked a 5 night/ 6 day trip for myself and the boys in May.
Scary thing is... their passes cost as much as our airfare and dining plan  and I only got quick service. This is why I LOVE our DVC!
Staying at Saratoga Springs so they will have 2 feature pools, the kiddie water-parkette and and lots of pool activities. Plus an easy walk/bus/boat trip to DTD. Hoping for a last minute cheap car though :rolleyes1

The passes are getting so expensive. Last minute trips are so much fun. Glad you were able to get the DVC room.

I keep telling myself one of these years I will not plan a single trip and just kind of fly by the seat of my pants (so to speak) A bunch of last minute trips to wherever the best deal is at the time.

The problem is, I have to plan out what year that will be and it looking more and more like 2017:rotfl::rotfl:

Hahahahaa!
I'm biting the bullet and buying the boys 10 day water parks and more no expiration passes this time. That gives them each 10 park visits and 10 water park or disney quest visits. I should last them 5 - 7 years if we stick to our 1-2 parks a trip thing.
It's crazy expensive but Madi and I will need to add days to ours too next year so I'd rather do 1/2 now and 1/2 later :)

I have read that they are no longer going to sell the no expiration tickets:confused3 I have been debating about buying some. We also have only been visiting the parks for a few days at a time, especially since we have tried cruising;)

So far.. It's just a rumor... I get mine fron UndercOver tourist

Yes, that was where I planned to get ours if we buy them. At least they give you a day or so notice for ticket price changes.

I hope the rumor is not true:)

Disney will have to honor the ones already out with the public though :)

Where in Toronto do you live? We use to live in North York, near York mills and Leslie. Bridgewater is very different. It is nice to have a short commut, but sometimes I miss Toronto so much more to do there.

So just putting this out there...
For anyone doing WDW before hand... I am looking at car service vs. DCL transport to PC. DCL transfers are $35pp so for $140 and they leave later than I'd like to be on the ship. My kids love swimming in the almost empty pool when the 1st people are allowed on.
Is anyone interested in maybe using a car service to go to port and be able to get to know each other on the way??
depending on how many people we get, we can bring the costs down to $15-$17/pp plus tip.
I know this is a LOOONNNGGG way out but I thought I would pit it out there!;)
