Has anyone ever purchased a deeded timeshare off of Ebay that was sor sale? I found a good deal, but I'm leary of doing it on Ebay? Is it normal to have a $350 processing fee and a $75 resort transfer fee? If anyone has ever purchased one, could you please pm me? Thanks!

Those fees do sound correct = but make sure you have a reputable broker in FL.

The fees you list are fairly normal. It probably doesn't really cost that much to close, but the sellers make part of their money by inflating the costs.

Also be careful of what you buy. Many of the timeshares auctioned aren't worth the annual maintenance fees. You might want to read www.tug2.net to learn a lot about all things timeshares.

You may want to post here or send me an email telling me the resort you are looking at. I'm no expert, but I'd be glad to tell you if I know anything about that particular resort.

Also remember that season makes a big difference.

Plus most of the experienced bidders snipe at the last minute, so if it's really a good deal, it will probably go much higher at the last minute.

I've purchased a week here and there off eBay and there are definitely deals to be had. Just be cautious.
