Ebay/Paypal help please

I know this is a very specific question but I have yet to receive an e-mail response from Paypal and I can't call them right now, so I thought the experts on here might be able to give me some advice.

I recently won an auction where the seller states she accepts Paypal with no stipulations about no credit cards. When I go to pay for the auction, the only payment option coming up is an e-check. I had planned to pay via credit card and I have a Paypal balance that I wanted to apply as well, but these options aren't showing as available. Is this because the seller has a personal account and forgot to mention it? I know I have a personal account and have had people try to send me credit card payments in the past.

I think even if the seller only has a personal account you can still send credit card payments, then they have to decline them. When the page comes up that says how much you owe and asks you to confirm payment it should say on the bottom right hand side of the screen where your payment is coming from. Then it has a link underneath it that says something like "click here for more options." If you click on that you can enter other payment methods.

I hope that's clear enough, I'm going on memory.

Thanks, I did that and only echeck is coming up as an option. I have never experienced this before so don't know if it's something the seller set up on purpose or maybe how they have their ebay preferences set up within Paypal. I have emailed her directly but have not received a response yet either.

Try doing a screen print of her information and the item information. Then log directly into PayPal, click on Send Money, and go from there.

Ok, I must have had a blonde moment but I FINALLY realized what the problem was and it was a big DUH on my part.

The credit card I had on file needed to have its expiration date updated. It would have been nice if Paypal would have notified me of the problem but I finally realized it and have now paid for the item.
