I am attempting to pay for our next WDW vacation by selling a bunch of unwanted crap on Ebay.
However,
1) Paypal only allows $500 a month to be electronically deposited into my bank account. (so far I am at $300 after 5 days).

2)I noticed that Paypal is an accepted payment method at the Disneystore.com site.

My question is:
"Can I use the Paypal balance to buy a Disney GIft Card from the Disneystore.com site, and then use that card to pay for my vacation?"

You are kind of limited to where you can use Paypal. A lot of retailers take it online, like Sears, but Amazon for example doesn't. You can book hotels on Hotwire using Paypal, but not through Disney as far as I know. If you have time, your best bet is to get the Paypal Debit card. I use one to get my balance out of Paypal. You use it just like a debit card. You can also go through additional steps to increase your limit over $500 per month.

I don't know if Craigslist is an option for you but if it is I'd suggest looking into it. It's great no mailing, no misunderstandings - you hand over the product and get the cash! No limits to mess around with either.

I'm craigslisting our way to our next set of Annual Passes!

Disneystore.com definitely accepts Paypal - my question there is, can I use a Giftcard I buy from them to pay my ressie at WDW.

I just bought/used 200 worth of Disney Gift cards from Target for this, with no problem.

Maybe I'll gamble, and buy a $50 one, just to see how it works

Beware of ebay. So many problems.

The answer is YES! :) I have personally done this! I purchased a few for the trip once we are there also. I just type in gift card on the search for disneystore and pull it right up!

I know a lot of people that make a full time living and support their families on Ebay. I am one of them! It's like anything, you have to be educated and understand the rules. Anyway, because you do get limited where you can use Paypal and your protections, if you want to make and use a lot of money the Paypal debit card is the way to go!

It took me a little more than a week to get my debit card, and it makes it a whole lot easier than waiting 2-3 days for it to transfer to the bank. Just be careful of any fees when using the debit card.

If you use your paypal debit card to get the cash out, is there any fee associated with the transaction - either by paypal or at the ATM? I just realized my paypal debit card expires tomorrow, haven't received a new card, and we leave for disney on Friday. So this is a good option for me to get the money out of my account. Thanks
