About 6 months ago, I sold one of my husband's SWA Rapid Rewards Airline Vouchers. I listed the auction as bidding on SWA Drink Coupons and for free they would receive a round trip ticket. My husband made all the travel arrangements for this individual and at that time there were numerous other auctions listed the same way that I listed mine. Now I can't find any auctions like that and am wondering if Ebay changed their policy on this. I searched the help area and couldn't find anything. Does anyone know the policy on this? Thanks!

Well IF SW ever finds out then whoever your DH booked the ticket for could be in for a RUDE surprise. What you did is a violation of the agreement with SWA. The "Selling" of the only the drink vouchers is not goint to release you from the fact that you are violating the SW agreement. Basically SW can and will remove your DH or whomever from their program and void the tickets. Maybe they started doing that and the "sell only drink coupon" scam went away!

This was under eBay's Prohibited or Restricted Items section:

Individuals: Individual travelers who are not in the business of selling travel services, but simply wish to sell an unused air or sea related travel voucher or gift certificate, may do so no more than one trip per month provided that the item is not a travel club membership or "choice travel certificate," (see below) or related item. In such instances, the seller may play no role in arranging any travel other than delivering the item. Please note that many airline tickets, vouchers, and frequent flier miles are not transferable, and sellers should review any travel related item before listing to make sure that it can be transferred legally to another party and will be accepted by the issuing provider of travel services.

That answers my question! Thanks for the help on finding the information. I just wasn't having any luck. Guess my hubby will just have to take me somewhere. Now to just pick a place! Hmmm....Maybe Orlando! :flower:

I've never sold SW anything. However, I recently sold a Jetblue credits that I had broken up into $200 increments. W/O any problems. However, everything was fully transferable per Jetblue so maybe this was the exception.
