Ebay...is this a good idea?

I've sold lot on Ebay, but so far just misc. pins, Castaway Club towels, and my planning guides so I would only peg my experience level at "intermediate." I'd like to see what the pros think of this idea. We were just at WDW and my husband bought a monorail "hat." I have never heard so many people comment on anything in my life! I think they must only be sold at the monorail hotels, but if we had bought extra and brought them to MK, we could have sold them out. We are at WDW at least twice a month. I'm wondering if I should buy a few and sell them at a small markup (maybe $3 to $5 more), especially with Halloween not too far away. Any of you pros think that would be a good idea, or will I be stuck with unsold head gear?

How Cool!! I've never seen those before! I searched active and completed for last 30 days and can not find a single one on eBay. I bet that they would sell great however, I wouldn't wipe out WDW's inventory until you try one or two of them. Some of the monorail stuff does VERY well on eBay. I found lots of the talking monorail magnets there.

That's a pretty cool hat. I would definitely try selling them, but don't put a "buy it now" price on it. There's no history of how high it will go so let the market determine the price. Cute pix by the way.

We bought one extra monorail for me, so I think I'll put it out there and see what happens. I might even wait until a bit closer to Halloween. When me husband wore it in MK, we were sitting down eating ice cream and a little boy came running up to him and yelled, "If you're an airplane, I love you!" It was sooooo funny!
