Ebay help please.

I won an auction a couple of weeks ago and tried to pay via pay pal (the only way listed to pay). It said that the person was unable to accept money at the time. I contacted seller and he said to give it a couple of days. I have given it a week and have contacted the seller again to tell him I either want to pay or get out of the auciton. He has yet to respond and it has been 5 days. I tried to look around the site and see if there was anywhere that I could write to ebay to find out about what to do. I just don't want negative feedback and I am unwilling to wait too much longer. I want the item I won and would like to bid again through other people on the same item. Any suggestions?

I just had a similar situation. It turned out the sellers paypal was set up incorrectly. What I did was cancelled my payment on paypal and asked the seller for a new invoice. Once he sent the invoice, I paid again and it went thru perfectly.

If you paid thru paypal you can cancel your paymnet if it hasn't been accepted yet.
