Ebay has just been removed from Creation Rewards. This is not a good day, first they are giving 8 points a bid and now it is gone! On the Cr home page they did say that points for March were safe. Not happy! Just when I was finding all kinds of things I wanted on Ebay! I hope this is temporary!

It says ebay does not want to pay Creations Rewards for March. I'm hoping they will...but it sounds like there is a chance that they won't.

I wrote to CR and they say that they are not guaranteeing any points for March from eBay. This will do it for me. I won't be doing any rewards programs any more. I wasted too much time on that program not to earn anything.

Burn me once shame on you, burn me twice, shame on me, Burn me a third time... I don't think so, you won't even get a chance.

With summer coming and overtime becoming more available, I'll get a sitter to watch the kids for a couple of hrs a week and earn more than I could with the rewards programs.

I might be with jdads on this one. I have just a few points to finish up here and there for certificates, and as I cash out on each one, I think that's it. Think of all the time we spend for a few cents a day on Netflip, search programs, and other reward programs. That's a lot of good books.

Maybe its time to turn this Ebay thing around. I've thought about selling a few things now that my feedback rating has grown. Could be an easier or at least less time consuming money maker. Seems a few others on the budget board are doing this already.

I auctioned off my first item this past couple of weeks - never thought to do so before I started doing ebay for points. I had a broken playstaion2 - sold it for a great price, and with a couple of gift certificates, will be able to replace it for a few dollars! I hate to lose the points, but maybe I will look around for a few things I never use, and get rid of it all.

Dear Lora,

How should I take, what seems to me, a dig. If you hate to tell us "I told you so", why do it? If what you say might be taken the wrong way, why say it? I know that I have tried to help people on this board and when I run into some bad luck or a rewards program that goes bad I don't need nor appreciate those type of remarks.

...and no, I don't remember our little chat.

I'm rarely on this board, so it shouldn't be difficult to find the thread where we were all discussing our ebay biddding. I very kindly brought up my concern that if people were going to continue to bid the way they were saying they were, that CR wouldn't be able to keep ebay on their site - or that it would change to "winning bids only" or something. I was just giving a little warning that if we abused this opportunity to get points, they'd take it away. I was also coming from the perspective of being an ebay buyer - worrying that the things I was bidding on would be more money because of people just bidding for points.

I know that in print it's difficult to read someone's tone. I didn't know how else to express that I'm really not trying to be mean or anything. That's why I added those phrases. I'm sorry if I offended - but I didn't mean to accuse - just to say that I saw it coming.
