Ebates check mailed

Mine was put directly into my paypal account on Feb. 5th- I transferred it to my checking account and it was in there by Feb 7th.

When did you make your purchases? The Big Fat Check that went out recently was for purchases made between 10/01-12/31/14. If you did not have at least $5.01 in your account, it rolled over into the next quarter. The current quarter ends on 03/31/14 and the Big Fat Check for that quarter will go out on 05/15/14.

I switched to receiving it via paypal about a year ago after a friend clued me in that it was an option and the ebates payout arrives very quickly each quarter as a result, often before I even realize it's approaching the time for the quarterly ebate, lol. Like a previous poster, the most recent ebates $ reached my paypal account in the first week of Februry. Just a suggestion to consider using paypal to receive your ebates if the check isn't arriving in the mail as promptly as you'd prefer.

There wasn't a check sent out in January.

They're only sent out quarterly:

• May 15 for purchases made 1/1-3/31
• Aug. 15 for purchases made 4/1-6/30
• Nov 15 for purchases made 7/1-9/30
• Feb 15 for purchases made 10/1-12/31

If you got a check in January, then it was a really late delivery of the check that was sent in November.

I have to say I'm kind of surprised so many people have checks cut and mailed instead of going with an instant deposit via paypal.

Just curious, but any specific reason for that?

My e-bates money was in my pp account before noon on 2/3 and I used it to make a purchase at about 6pm that night. Easy - peasy.

Of course maybe that answers my question about why people don't go the instant deposit route. LOL

It was a purchase I was already planning to make though, and I could have just as easily transferred the money to my bank if I had wanted to.

Anyway, I hope everyone receives their checks soon.

Once the check arrives, I deposit it into our vacation savings account. Much safer than putting into my PayPal account -- where it would be spent!

As soon as it goes into my paypal acct I transfer it to my bank account. I hate getting checks because I don't like to have to go to a bank- though now I just deposit most through my iphone but its still easier for me to do everything electronically.
