Ebates 20% back for Orbitz tickets

Hi, I am new here and have a question for the FP+. This is my first time to Disney(going soon) and I registered an account in MDE in Jan. I bought the ticket and linked to my MDE account but I could not book the FP+. Can anyone tell how I can book the FP+ in advance? Thanks.

If you are staying onsite, it is 60 days. If not, it is still day of in the park, except a few who have been chosen to test prebooking.

When are you going? You can only do it 60 days in advance

Did you assign each ticket? There should be an option to assign the ticket to yourself and friends/family once linked.

Do you have a Disney resort reservation linked in MDE? Right now only resort guests have access to fastpass +.

Finally got my cashback notice!! Paypals the day I leave! :cool1: I also called Universal to make sure these were upgradable to an AP and they are (in case anyone cares!)

Thanks for all who replied to me.

I do not have a Disney resort booked. I think that's why I could not do FP+. :(

I just wanted to update and say that the cashback finally posted to my account last night. So if you're still waiting, contact ebates and it may take some time, but you'll get it.

So I bought my tickets through Orbitz off the Ebates website. I only got 4% off, but it was still quite a bit of savings. :) So thank you all! Here's my question:

How do I link my Orbitz confirmation number to my reservation so I can do FP+? I called member services and they said that I had to wait to get my physical tix at Will Call and then link them, but that isn't for another month. I'm too excited to wait! We are staying at BCV. We own at DVC. The kids are really excited to use the magic bands and we already personalized them, I just want to finish linking everything to plan.

Thanks for the advice!

Sherri :)

You need to call and ask for the MyMagic+ code from your tickets.

You have to get your My Magic code from Orbitz not DVC. You can contact them by email at CustomerRelations@Orbitz.com or call them. I emailed them and they responded the next day.

Not only is the 20% ebates offer down to 4% but the buy 3 get 2 day free Orbitz ticket prices went up. I bought 4 adult tickets @ 1120.36 and they are now charging $1,191.44 for the same tickets.

So mad I missed this! That's what I get for not being on disboards for over a month!

I purchased my Disney tickets on 2/23 for 3 adults and 1 child and today I was just browsing at other park tickets and I noticed that the Disney 3 day + 2 days free went up in price. Is the price that Orbitz is charging the same as purchasing tickets directly from Disney?

Thanks for the great information on this board I was able to score tickets for my family's first Disney vacation.
I was able to get my 20% back and obtain my magic code..however I read here and other boards that the tickets are valid until 2030 once assigned?
I did that but I am not able to see that anywhere?
We are still planning dates and more than likely it will be in 2015.
Does it show when I have a hotel booked and linked?

Thanks!!!!

I saw today its down to 1% now!

FYI, I successfully connected my Orbitz tickets to my room only ressie. It took 2 calls to Disney to get this done. My first call, I was sent to an agent who kept telling me I had to wait to get here and pick up my tickets at will call before I can connect them. So I hung up and called back - I asked for tech support this time. Finally after waiting 25 minutes, I was connected to an agent who helped me with no problem. My tickets were connected right away and I found them in my My Disney Experience right away. :thumbsup2

Apologize if this has already been addressed in the thread - but I just wanted to clarify. The only benefit from linking the Orbitz tickets to MDE is you can select your FastPass schedule, right? You still have to physically go and retrieve your tickets with the voucher at some point, correct? Thanks!

No, you don't if you link them.

Disney raised their ticket prices on Feb. 23. I think orbitz went up about 2 weeks later. This is why the ticket prices are now higher on orbitz.

No, you don't if you link them.

Just double checking....so if you link your orbitz tickets to MDE, you DON'T need to pick them up and activate them at the park entrance???? Is that what you were saying???
