Ebates 20% back for Orbitz tickets

I have ordered the tickets yesterday and my tracking ticket showed a checkmark today. I have used ebates for many years. Maybe that is why it showed up quickly?

That's possible.

My ebate account is brand new. I signed up right before making the purchase.

If you wait a little while (at least a week) and it doesn't show up, you can email ebates. They will ask for proof of the purchase, and can adjust your cashback manually.

I've had to have that done once.

I'll be converting these to FL resident APs and staying off-site (well, Swan). I understand the Swan/Dolphin are not yet getting the bands? That being the case, I can't link the reservation to MDE, correct?

It's bee 48 hours since my purchase, and nothing yet.

I can see my trips, but no check mark to indicate something was purhcased.

You are looking at your trip so you are on Orbitz. Go to Ebates and look under "my acct" on the top line then r click cash back and then select shopping trip that is where you will see the check mark

I purchased last Thursday, 2/20 and still no ebate. Did not have a check mark. I did send them an email and they did say to wait 7 days before they will investigate. I bought something else on 2/21 through ebates and did not get that one either.

Another Monday night buyer here. Checks just showed up next to my transactions but no pending cash back yet. But just seeing those checkmarks made me feel a little relieved.

That's not the way it worked for me. I got credit for all of my purchases this time without having to contact them for any of them.

I think the folks who had trouble were ones who bought Disney tickets and other tickets in the same order. Or who bought package or hotel reservation with their order.

No, they seemed to only give 20% off one line item in your order. If you ordered Universal tickets for $200 and Disney tickets for $800, they automatically gave you the 20% rebate only on the $200, so $40 instead of the expected $200.

Many of us made multiple purchases to ensure we got the correct rebate without intervention. I made two purchases 5 minutes apart and just got the last of my rebates posted automatically.

I'm with ya, too. I bought mine on Saturday night. I can see the shopping trip, but there is no check mark or cash pending. I went ahead and filled out their form, and they told me to wait 7 days. So, I hope they aren't difficult to deal with. I think they will give me the credit. I just don't want to haggle over what percentage they give me because I will of course expect the 20%. This was my first time to use ebates. I have a friend who told me they are very reputable so I'm not gonna worry too much until I submit the form again after the 7 days. It is a very good deal. Wish it would have went smoothly for everyone. I feel pretty good though. I can see my shopping trip listed and have my confirmation email from Orbitz - just hope they honor the 20%.

Sorry I misunderstood, I was speaking about people who got a different discount on different items. Like they got 20% off universal tickets but then nothing on Disney tickets. I wasn't referring to someone who didn't get any credit yet. I am sure yours will come through fine. I made two purchases during this discount period. The first one took three days to show up in my ebates account, the second one showed up in one day.
