We are going on Oct 2nd-5th We have booked lunch at the aburge as it is my birthday they told me they are not open for dinner, can anyone recommend other good eating places as there is so much choice I am toying with Cafe Mickey purely based on the characters for my daughter thanks:cool:cool1:

I really love the food at cafe Mickey, but be warned, the portions are huge!
At the Village, I also like the Steakhouse a lot. Great food, live music, fantastic!
At NBC, we love the Cape Cod buffet, many different foods of good quality, we always come out sick because of eating way too much! Last time we first took a walk around the lake before we went to our car, haha!
Yacht Club was also good, but a little more upscale, as is Manhattan at HNY.

At the park itself, walt's is my absolute favourite. The decoration of the restaurant is amazing, all the artwork is original, and the food is fantastic! I always have the clam chowder and the risotto, yummy...

Cafe Mickey is the only restaurant I've booked for dinner - like you, for good food and the characters:goodvibes .

Annette's Diner is our choice!
Great atmosphere in America 1950's style good food if you like burgers and hot dogs and nice waiters :cool1: .
Not a cheap one but nothing is cheap there lol

We ate at Cafe Mickey on our last night a couple of weeks ago, the portions weren't huge and to be honest the food was below standard (especially for the price we paid for it!) BUT!!!! The character interaction was amazing, DS got to dance with the characters and they larked around with him for ages. So well worth it for the interaction, but I'd suggest not doing the 3 course deal thing like we did.
We ate at Annettes and loved it, the food was yummy and plentiful, it wasn't very busy so the food came quickly, everyone was smiling and the atmosphere was good.
We ate at Billy Bob's buffet and found it to be overpiced for what it was, and they insisted on charging my 3 year old the full 12€ for a 'meal' despite the fact that he ate literally nothing. An expensive mistake that was!
We had a Mcdonalds but the servie was appaling.
Wish we had sampled Planet Hollywood for something different.

we always like planet hollywood - surprisingly great food, lovely cocktails and a good atmosphere - but always hot inside!

dont think we'll be going to cafe mickey on this trip as even though we had fun last time, it really was just a bit too expensive and the service wasn't great - apart from the characters of course ;)

I can recommend the Rainforest cafe .I've never had a bad meal there or what about doing the Buffalo Bill show that night ?
