Well, since I loved reading all the reviews I thought I'd add mine now that I'm back from my too short trip and already dreaming of booking a Disney Cruise. For background, it was me, DH, DD 6, DS 4 and DS 2. We were on the Dining Plan and stayed at POR - Riverside.

Day One:

Lunch @ POR Foodcourt We got the Prime Rib Sandwich Platter with fries, a Philly Cheese Steak with fries, 2 pieces of chocolate cake (the cake will become a recurring theme :goodvibes ), a chocolate milk and a coke for a total of 2 CS.

We all absolutely loved the Prime Rib Sandwich, the Philly cheesesteak was okay and the cake was pretty good. We were thrilled to discoved the large Nesquick Chocolate Milk was allowed as a beverege on the DP

Dinner @ Chef Mickey's I can't say enough good things about this place. My kids were in heaven and the character interaction was fantastic. Minnie fussed over my DD's Minnie Mouse hat, Mickey played peek-a-boo with my DS 2, they all came around twice (Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Chip and Dale) and Donald was greeting in the front. The food was hot, great choices and everyone found something they liked alot. Certainly not gourmet, but I wasn't expecting that. My kids loved the mashed potatoes, I really enjoyed the salmon, my DH ate some of everything and the dessert bar was fun with all the toppings for your sundae from m&m's to gummiworms and nonparreils.
Cost: 4 TS Credits

Day 2:

Breakfast at the Foodcourt (since my DH left the luggage with all the breakfast stuff home , we headed off to the foodcourt and I couldn't be blamed for going over budget :rotfl2: . We got a made to order omelette with a side of potatoes and bacon and 2 Mickey Waffles with bacon, a chocolate milk, a bottle of water and a soda. The omelette was really good as was the bacon and potatoes. MY DH says the waffles were just "okay" Cost: 3 CS Credits

Lunch at MGM's FLatbred Grill (AKA Studio Catering). We got Barbecued Pulled Pork Sub with Potato Chips and Grilled Chicken with Rice and Beans, 2 slices of chocolate cake, a chocalate milk and a soda. The food was pretty good (my DD & I loved the rice and beans). Cost 2 CS Credits

Dinner @ Mama Melrose: We booked the Fantasmic Package. For appetizers DH had Bruschetta - with marinated tomatoes and crostini and I had the
Crispy Calamari - with peppers and onions and a side of spicy marinara sauce. I loved the Calamari - it was perfeclty cooked but DH's Bruschetta was just BLAH. The kids had salads which were fine for an adult but they didn't touch them. For entrees we had Charred Butcher Tender Steak over roasted red pepper polenta, grilled asparagus, with gorgonzola butter and red wine reduction and Veal Osso Buco slow roasted and served with Risotto Milanese. They were both fine but not great and neither of us finished them. For dessert DH and I both had the Warm Truffle Cake and it was truly awful - even my chocalte loving DS 2 spit it out. The kids gelato was fine and they both enjoyed it.

More to come ...

I love rice and beans. Do you know if you could order them as a side? I don't really want to use a cs credit there.

I will be watching for more reviews!

Yum.....I LOVE prime rib and in a sandwich? To die for!

2 of my favorite things...Prime Rib and Bread, so a sandwich and I am in heaven!

Thanks for the review!
