Eating our way around Disney in 14 days - dining reviews - tons of pictures!

Turkey Focaccia, eclair, white chocolate cupcake & Danish treat (I think)

The White chocolate cupcake looks so good. I must try this when I visit the world next time.

Olivia's is located at the Old Key West Resort. This was our first time eating here. The restaurant was really quiet, only a few tables were taken, I don't think we needed to make an advance reservation.

Since it was a pretty quiet restaurant, it was fun to just sit, eat and relax. Our server was fantastic, she was attentive and really nice. (I always forget their names...). The food was good, the desserts as well. We give this restaurant a 4/5. It's not a must do, but we would definitely eat here again.

Boma is one of my favorite buffet in the world. Thanks for sharing your wonderful yummy pictures

This was our Sea World day. We didn't really know where to eat so we ended up eating at Antartic Market. I have just one picture from this lunch.

We all ate about he same thing. It was not very good, it was very overpriced and the service wasn't good as well. You can see that we were not at Disney anymore. :sad2: While I do love Sea World, it's a fantastic park, but both years we ate at the park for lunch was pretty bad. In 2009, we ate at Dine with Shamu which was fantastic.:thumbsup2
We give this restaurant a 1/5. I doubt we would eat here again.

Thats how we feel about Sea World. The food is way over priced. This year we might just pack us a lunch.

I must say that I did not fall in love with the tonga toast. It was good but it was wayyyy too sweet. And I have a sweet tooth. I didn't even eat all of it. I'm not sure I would try them again, but if I did I would maybe try them at Kona instead just to see the difference. My DBF loved his mini sandwiches, but he was desapointed that it didn't come with potatoes or some sort of side. Overall, we enjoyed the experience, but I doubt we would eat here again on a future trip. We give this quick-service restaurant 2/5.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the Tonga Toast from Kona either (should be the same). Way too sweet, and while I don't have a sweet tooth I do like the occasional sweet breakfast (who doesn't like Pineapple Macadamia Nut Pancakes?). Pretty much everyone I know that has tried the T-Toast shuns it for the same reason. It's a diabetic coma waiting to happen.

OMG everything looks so good that Im starving now and have to start dinner! LOL

Tell me more about the roast beet salad at SS, was it a vingerette type dressing, I dont normally care for those.. Was it filling?

Last question.. were you on the DDP?

I was scared to not feel full with only the salad so I ordered the vegetable soup as well. To tell you the truth, with dessert, the salad would've been enough. But, if I hadn't ordered dessert, I would've still have ordered the soup. It was a honey-something vinaigrette. Very good one too!

We went in September with the free dining plan promotion. So, yes, we were on the dining plan.

Hope that helps! :)

Today was the day we went shopping at Orlando Premium Outlet. I didn't take my camera with me so I didn't get any pictures of lunch, but for me it was at A&W. Nothing special, just a burger and fries. ;)

Dinner was at Whispering Canyon cafe.

We didn't have any desserts, everybody was too full. It was me and DBF's
2nd time eating here. We didn't really want to eat here again, as we didn't liked this restaurant all that much, but we knew my mom and my aunt would love it. Which they did. I'm not a big red meat eater (I eat a mostly vegetarian diet at home), so to me the skillet is not something I overly enjoy. But, it is good, and the others seemed to have enjoyed their meals. I would give Whispering Canyon Cafe a 3.5/5. Don't forget, this is a loud restaurant, the loudest we've been to, so don't get reservations there if you want a quiet place to eat. :)

Thank you for sharing! Love what I have seen so far.
Yak & Yeti is now on my MUST list.

Thanks for the great reviews

Your photos are great :goodvibes

I was really pleased to see a review of Olivia's as I don't see many

We are staying at OKW for the first time in October and will probably try dinner there one night

I've always been on the fence about Rose & Crown. Your pictures look absolutely delish!! Now I'm thinking about making an ADR change!

I'm sorry that you didn't enjoy 50s Prime Time. It's one of our faves. I was drooling over the brownie sundae until you said it was cold. Bummer!

Enjoying all your reviews & looking forward to the rest. Thanks so much for sharing!!!!!!

After breakfast at Boma, we headed to Magic Kingdom for the rest of the day. We decided to have a light lunch at Cosmic Ray's. This was our first time eating here.

This place was packed!! We had a hard time finding a table to sit and eat. My salad was fantastic, everything was good and we will definitely eat here again on a future trip. We give this quick-service restaurant 4/5. :thumbsup2

I've gotta ask...is that a huge scoop of feta cheese??? I love feta cheese!

I love all of the restaurants you went to  I'm making a mental list of what to try. delicious! :cloud9:

Great reviews, thank you. I agree with you on WCC, it is too noisy for me. The last time we went I told my family to remind me not to make ADRs there anymore. The servers using the tray table to sound like a horse galloping drove me nuts! Fun for the kids, but not for me.

I'm coming out of lurkdom because I saw a couple of people ask about this salad. It has, per AllEarsNet, a honey-sherry dressing. Not sure if this is a help or not...but I hope it's a help. :goodvibes
PS--Great dining choices. You've been to some of my faves, so I guess I'm partial. :)
