If you had to choose one table service location as a family of four (two boys 6 & 4) to eat at either Boardwalk, Beach Club or Yacht Club, where would it be and why?

I would even accept your top three :)

breakfast-Cape May Café at BC-great food, good characters and made to order crepes!!! We mostly stay at BC (10 out of 17 trips) and we have breakfast there every trip even when we stay at AKL or WL.
lunch-Beaches & Cream-good diner type food, fun sundaes and shakes and fun atmosphere
dinner-Yachtsman Steakhouse-fantastic food, great service and truffle mac and cheese AND you can go to the newly opened Ample Hills Creamery on the Boardwalk for some of the best ice cream you will ever eat (if you have never had it at their NYC locations) Keep in mind though that Yachtsman is an upscale experience with the pacing and prices to match.

You will love the BC-it is our absolute favorite resort!

I agree with a 4 & 6 yo Cape May Cafe for breakfast.
I would plan a " date night" - (minus kids) for either Yachtsman Steakhouse or Flying Fish. Both are terrific.

We prefer the restaurants at the Dolphin/ Swan in that area, but if we were limited to the choices you gave we'd dine at Yachtsman Steakhouse. We loathe Cape May Cafe, but in fairness we've only been there for dinner which sucked both times.

Cape May Cafe for breakfast or even make it like a brunch with an 11:00 reservation and load up for the day. Delicious fun and wonderful character interaction.

If you family likes sushi, Kimonos at the Swan is excellent.

We loved Cape May for breakfast - good buffet and great character interaction

Beaches and Cream is fun too - good burger and affordable by Disney standards.

We also really enjoyed lunch at Captain's Grille - the food was really good. We'll be returning on our next trip for dinner.

I would take them to either Big River Grill or the ESPN Club at the Boardwalk. You don't need reservations & it's a very casual atmosphere. Plus neither will cost you a fortune. I always found when my kids were that age buffets weren't worth the money because they didn't eat that much.

Big River Grill is awesome. If the temps aren't too bad the outdoor seating is very nice.

When we stay at Beach Club, we always have:
1-breakfast at Cape May- great food (as PP mentioned crepes) and laid back character interaction
2-an 'ice cream lunch' at Beaches and Cream (No Way Jose ... mmmmm)
3-dinner at ESPN (our family are big sports fans and enjoy the casual, laid back atmosphere along with pub food) followed by dessert at Boardwalk Bakery (but our next trip might be dessert at Ample Hills)

If you aren't on the DDP, head over to the Swan/Dolphin and eat at bluezoo, Il Mulino or Kimono's. All better than the WDW restaurants.

If on the DDP, I would do Trattoria al Forno for dinner and then enjoy the entertainment and games on the Boardwalk. Great food and a lot of fun.
