eating inside disney park???

i have a brief idea the food will be expensive inside dlp, and not allow own food, except small portion of snack.

anyone how much roughly per meal?
any strategy bring food inside the park?

going on monday for 2 days

You can take sandwichs and snacks into the park as well as drinks if they are not in glass bottles

I've literally taken whole picnic bags full of food in when I've been on one of my mega two week trips to DLP and not once have I ever had an issue (well once when I put a knife on the bag for cutting rolls and it just totally didn't occur to me that someone could use it as a weapon!)
My big tip is to try having kids meals for lunch in the park(s) I always find they are more than enough for me for lunch and much cheaper than the adult menu (plus you get an ice cream!)

Im not sure if it just depends on who checks your bags but to save on embarrassment I wouldn't take in too much food.

The person in front of me in the bag check queue had packed a lunch from the breakfast buffet, it held up the queue ages as the guy took out every clear bag of croissants etc.

And tbh with the heat we are expecting this weekend on - 35-37° I wouldn't want to be eating a sandwich that had been made hours before

we have taken a rucksac with drinks and a picnic into the park everyday and never had a problem

We wouldn't want to carry much in the parks, but if you're on a really tight budget you can nip out and get something at Earl of Sandwich (or the train station) and then go back in after
