People are always talking about eating their breakfast in their rooms? Where do you get the food from to do that? :earsgirl:

Some bring it in with them from Publix or other store. Get muffins or bread and peanut butter. DVC members have mini-fridges, so some get milk and cereal.
Some get room service (Deluxe style)
Some go to resort food court (I like bakery stuff at POR) and bring it back.
Some go to restaurant and get take out (like I plan on doing at Whispering Canyon, as the cinnamon icing is what makes the french toast so good, and they don't put it on the WL room service.)

It's easy. :cloud9:

We eat very light breakfasts at home so for our Disney trips I usually pack semi-healthy breakfast bars in my suitcase and then get juice or diet coke from the resort store. We then just plan for an early (11:30-12:00) lunch. This saves us a lot of time getting out the door in the morning, too.

We always rent a car so we head to Winn Dixie or Publix on our way from the airport. We buy the individual cereals, pastries, milk and when we're near a bakery (Main St. or in France at Epcot) we get a few things for the next morning. I love being able to just grab a quick bite in the room and head out for the day. :flower:

We ate light breakfasts in our room. I packed granola and cereal bars in our luggage as well as tea bags and single serve coffee bags. We bought milk and a pack of single serve cereal boxes at the gift shop in our hotel. It was perfect for us! We would eat lunch and dinner in the parks.

We ate pop tarts and nutri-grain bars in our room. ( we brought these from home) While I was in the shower my DH and DD would run over to the POR food court and refill our mugs and bring them back. It worked out great!

For us we always get our breakfast food from WDW. It may be our left-over dessert from the night before, an item from one of many places-Boardwalk Bakery, The French Pastry shop, Writer's Stop (MGM), Main Street Bakery, etc. Obviously, if you want to save money by eating breakfast in your room, you wouldn't take this route, but we love it! Those Mickey rice krispy treats are great breakfasts.

When we stay in a DVC 1 bedroom, we get frozen waffles & bagels (syrup, margarine) from the store and make them in the toaster.

My son loves cereal, so we packed cereal, disposable bowls and spoons, and bought our milk at the gift shop and kept it in our fridge (all deluxes and moderates have them now). You could use hot water from your coffee maker and make oatmeal if you brought packets. Poptarts are also fine unheated. The gift shops also have donuts, some have fruit, etc..

We also pack cereal in our suitcase, w/ the zoo pals bowls. I buy milk and grab a handful of spoons at the food court. Last time we were at Pop and didn't want to rent a fridge, so I just kept my soft-sided cooler stocked with ice (in baggies) and the milk stayed cold the whole time! Once the cereal is gone, there's extra room for souvenirs on the way home! I also bring bananas in my carry on. I wake DDs up w/ breakfast in bed and they are much quicker about getting ready that way!

...they are great ideas. I am trying to figure out this silly dining plan and want to save the "good" tickets for lunch and dinner and have allocated a bunch for my DS for character meals. I know I am probably overplanning this whole trip but with a husband who hates chaos and a four year old who is just like his dad, the better planned I am the happier we all are...So this will work out perfectly. Plus, you are right, it gets you out of the room quick and at the parks.
