Hi,

I need some advice on where to eat when we go in May this year.

We are 4 adults and a 7 year old and will have half board plus vouchers x 4. I have no idea where to eat where the vouchers will cover the entire cost of the meal as last time we stayed at davey crockett so were self catering.

My parents just like traditional food but this does include pasta and pizza but nothing like mexican, nothing hot or spicey wheras me and hubby are fairly flexible and like most things.

We are in DLP Monday-Friday at beginning of May and staying in the New York hotel.....any suggestions gratefully received.

Annette's Diner and The Steakhouse get great reviews and they will have food all of you will like I imagine.

The Lucky Nugget Saloon is the only character meal I think in that category. It's a buffet and so should have enough variety for all of you.

Walts is also a lovely restaurant and the Rendez Vous des Stars in the Studios also has had some great reviews (its a buffet).

You could always splurge and upgrade to premium dining and then get to eat at places like Inventions - everyone says its the best character meal there, the buffet is amazing especially if you love seafood! You could also dine at Cafe Mickey etc.

The vouchers are good for a main course and dessert and a drink. If you eat at a restaurant that isn't on the plan you can use the vouchers at face value.

Some restaurants may limit the choice selection for the vouchers but if you choose a few buffets then you needn't worry about that.

Hope you have a great trip, not long now :)

For meals to suit everyone I would say your best bets would be The Steakhouse in the village and Walts.

Hunter's Grill at the Sequoia Lodge is a great buffet with a massive range of foods to suit all tastes. It is also fully covered with HB+

If you wanted to use them at face value, you could use them against a meal in Cafe Mickey again with food to suit everyone but also with the character interaction. We did this. OH and I only had mains and a drink and the kids had mains, dessert and a drink and we only had about 10E left to pay, so it wasn't a lot extra.

i would definately do cafe mickey. we had great meals there. they do pizzas, pastas, steak etc im sure you would find something to suit everyone.

we had a great meal at the silver spur steakhouse in frontierland.

we were a bit dissapointed with annettes last time so wouldnt use half board plus there. but many others really enjoyed their meals.
