Is it possible to eat at Tonys maybe outside and see the parade and if you can is it a good view or is it better to just watch the parade curb side?

We ate at Tony's two years ago and planned it so that we would be able to see the parade while we were there. We were eating in the "sun room" and when the parade started the kids went out to the porch to watch it. Unfortunately, the wait staff told them they had to go back to their seats and then they proceeded to lock the glass doors to the outside. We could still see the parade, but it seemed a bit crazy that the people dining at Tony's couldn't stand on the porch to watch the parade. (Maybe they were afraid that people would skip out on the bill. We still had adults eating so that wasn't an issue with us.) On another note, we thoroughly enjoyed our food; we all got different things so that we could share.

Last year during our August trip, DH and I sat on the front porch for dinner and had great seats for the parade. At first, I was getting a little worried because as the parade time got closer, non-Tonys people started to gather on the steps and on the rails, blocking our view. But when the parade began the Tony's wait staff reminded them that they could not stand there since they were blocking customer's views. So, we did have good seats and it was nice to eat while watching. My suggestion would be to try and time it so that you are finishing up as the parade begins so you are not interrupted and miss anything. Have fun! :thumbsup2
