Eating at Pepper Market on Dining Plan

I was wondering will the 10% still be included in free dining this year?
Even though gratuties are not included?

Answers please!!:confused3

For 2008, if you are on the DDP - whether it was free or not - the 10% service charge IS INCLUDED in your plan. You will not have to pay the 10% OOP.

There is no distinction between guests who booked the free dining package and those who paid for it.

We will be there 8/30-9/6. We're going to the first MNSSHP on 9/5. We drive (we live in Florida; it's only about a 6-hour drive) and we are staying at CSR for the 3rd time.

My son just turned 6 in June. Your son will have a blast!

Hi that is great I hope you all have a wonderful day!!

I know my DS is going to love it!!

We are thinking of heading over to CSR for breakfast one morning on our non-park day. Can any of you who have had breakfast there give me your recommendations? I was hoping for something really different than the usual food court breakfasts...

Honestly, I would skip breakfast at the PM. They have exactly the same breakfast offerings as every other resort at WDW...nothing new or special. Actually, I thought their portions at breakfast were much smaller than the portions we had over at the ASMo.

If I were going to make a special trip for it, I would make it lunch or dinner! They have great meals then!!

I know that the kids typically have to order off the kids menu for the DDP. Does this also apply to Pepper Market? We went in 2005 and I don't remember what the deal was? My DD8 eats like an adult (still only wears a size 7/8!!) Any tips on this one?:lmao:

We ate breakfast at the PM earlier this month, on the DDP.
As others have stated, we did not have to pay the tip. So it must be included in the DDP.
Also agree their breakfast was nothing special. I was a little disappointed, and was expecting better selections, given they generally have very good selections for counter service.
It was pretty much a typical WDW counter service breakfast.

Although I think breakfast was served until 11 a.m., which is a plus.

This sounds like a GREAT lunch or dinner option on a non park day for us! THANKS SO MUCH! I never even thought about driving over to go to PM! We just usually go to Maya Grill, which we also LOVE!

I am so glad the 10% tip in included with DDP.:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

We plan on staying at a WDW resort - just so we can be on the DDP.
CSR seems to fit our family - 2 parents and 2 teen kids (with an areo bed - so DS & DD do not sleep together).

Yes, kids are always required to eat off the kids' menu when available. Allearsnet.com lists the following kids' meals for lunch/dinner:

Kid's Kitchen

Chicken Strips, chips and a cookie $4.75
Hot Dog, chips and a cookie $4.25
Pizza, Fresh Fruit, and a cookie $4.25
Pasta, Fresh Fruit, and a cookie $4.25

I typically eat kids meals at DIsney and had the pasta kids meal (to go) on Saturday. I don't like many sauces so I asked for it to be on the side and I am so glad I did, it was the kind of sauce with monster sized pieces of tomato and onion and all chunks, no sauce. So, there was a large amount of penne pasta (really large amount), a cookie, and a bag of chips, and a bottle of water because they don't have Mickey Milk!

It was a great deal for me! Next month when we are there for free dining I want to see the steak dinner.... Dh wants to get it for free!
