Eating at Park Fare, will we be back in time for Wishes ?

We have a reservation at Park Fare for 7:05pm , MSEP starts at 9:00 and Celebrate the Magic at 9:45 then Wishes at 10:00. We do not need to see the MSEP but would like to see Celebrate the Magic and Wishes. Will we be able to get back in time to find a good spot to view these ? I'm thinking the people for MSEP will keep their spots for Wishes which means most good spots will be taken ? Am I right ? So what does anyone think ?

You'll make it back in plenty of time to see Wishes.
You'll likely be there for celebrate the Magic.
(Take the monorail and not the shuttle boat.)

I'd head into MK through the shops of Main Street and find a viewing spot with a view of the castle.
Wishes happens well above the castle, so even if you're not exactly "in the front"
you should be fine for the fireworks.

Enter the gates, walk under the railroad station, enter Main Street and go into the first shop…
The shops are connected inside to each other, so you can walk through them
towards the Castle Hub.

I would also suggest checking in as early as they will allow you to for seating - maybe start checking with them 25 or 30 minutes before your reservation. We waited at least 20 mins to be seated in January and then it was over an hour before we met all 5 characters. They stop for a little 'show' in the middle of the restaurant where Cinderella and Prince Charming dance together and then with a child or two. This stopped all the other character interaction. Fortunately DGrd2 was picked to dance. It can take longer than expected to rotate all the characters - just luck of the draw sometimes, I guess, depending on how they are moving around and in and out of the room.
I agree with Robo, def do NOT take the boat back - it can be painfully slow.

Yes you can leave at any time. I sometimes ask my server for the bill early on so I can settle with them and not have to wait around when I'm ready to leave if they get busy. My kids and grands have always enjoyed this meal - great character interaction! enjoy!

you will not be able to reach shops when MSEP is going as it enters the park right where you need to enter shops. plan on arriving before it starts or after it gets past that part at the beginning

That's good to know. Do you think we should leave Park Fare at 8:30 ? How long do you think it will take to get back to MK with the monorail ?
