Here's my conundrum...
We've just booked a 4 night stay at DLH using the recent discount with the free half board. I've never used any sort of dining plan...so my understanding that since we're at DLH, it's the premium half board. Correct me if I'm wrong?
In an effort to get the most bang for our buck, I've been reviewing the more high end restaurants (all, actually) and their menus. I'm not so picky, but between my husband that's not keen on seafood, and an Aspie (Autism) son with food aversions, I'm finding it difficult to find something that suits all three of us every night. I just want to makes sure everyone is happy, we get the most for our money and food isn't going to waste.
We DO all however really enjoy Walt's, so one night we'll be going there. But would it be too far fetched to consider eating at Inventions the other 3 nights? Does the buffet offer enough variety, or perhaps ever rotate a bit day to day?
And the characters? I understand the randomness of them, but are we likely to just keep seeing the same ones (on our walk from the hotels on the last 2 trips, we kept seeing the same characters in the windows of Cafe Mickey, every time we walked by)...? Any thoughts or suggestions?
