So confused. We have eaten at Marrakesh in Morocco twice, Fish & Chips once, and then just a lot of general snacking around the world on Beaver Tails, sweet pretzels and such. DS and I are not picky. I wanted to try Teppanyaki but DD won't eat that and DH isn't thrilled with Japanese. Then I though that Italian place Alfredos but DH is not a pasta fan and I really don't hear very many rave reviews on it. The Mexican place is out because DD doesn't like spicy or exotic mexican or anything else for that matter. You should have seen her on our cruises. EVERYTHING was way to weird and exotic. She existed on alfredo, mac & cheese, fish & chips and chicken. She's 16 not 5. I don't think shell ever change. Norway or Germany won't fly with them either. Does anyone have any ideas for us? Is there any good counter service. Those two mostly like comfort foods. ie: 50's Primetime Cafe was a BIG hit. HELP!

Le Cellier, Canadian Pavillion. Great steak, and prime rib.

Another vote for Le Cellier. Great steaks, bread sticks, soup and pleasant atmosphere.

BTW I feel your pain. I would love to spend a day just walking around the WS sampling a little something from each country, but DH and DS will only eat counter service at the America Pavilion.

I would go where you want to go. She will either eat or go hungry. Picky at any age especially at 16 had got to go.

Alfredos was one of the best meals we had while we were there in 2002. Service was exceptional food was great. And remember Italian is alot more then pasta and Pizza. Alfredos offers steaks and seafood.

I also agree with the restaurants at The Land pavillion. Not only the Garden Grill Resturant which has character meals with Farmer Mickey and friends for lunch and dinner, but also the Sunshine Season Food Fair. The Food Fair is really just a big food court, but they have really good variety with something for just about everyone.

Deb Wills' website has a menu page for the food fair:

Good luck...

As someone who is a VERY picky eater, here's my opinion. By the way I was a picky eater from day 1, now I'm 28yo and still picky. Actually I think it's great your DD eats Fish sticks! I don't go near any fish!!
When we go to Epcot we either eat before we tour the WS, or I just eat at the American Pavillion. I am getting alittle better:rolleyes: however I don't want to ruin the eating experience for DH. We compromise and if he wants to eat somewhere I don't like I will order a salad, or something off the kids menu! You could just ask for a larger portion, I've never had a problem.

The Garden Grill is an excellent place! They have the best butter spread! My 2 DD's love the characters but then they are 5 and 3. The food is served Family Style and includes fried catfish, sirloin steak, rotissorie meats (chicken, turkey) and chicken fingers and mac and cheese for kids. The food has always been fresh and the service is great. The restaurant slowly rotates while you are eating and you will see part of the Living with Land attraction below the restaraunt at some point. I believe there is a hidden mickey on one of the walls in there as well.

My vote also goes to the Garden Grill. We love this restaurant, it's casual, and the characters have been lot's of fun in our experiences there. Food is served family style and you can eat as much as you want of what you like. We love the bread and butter but that's not to say that the rest of the food wasn't great, just loved that butter. We like to ask for a table in the front, it's so cool to see the inside of the ride.

THANK YOU Only been there 3 times, but I couldn't remember. Thanks again

Just wanted to add that San Angel was very accomodating to my somewhat picky DS last trip. He ordered a chicken quesadilla "unassembled". They brought a plate with grilled chicken, shredded cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and flour tortillas.... oh yeah.... and a bottle of ketchup for him! He was thrilled.

Have also eaten at Garden Grille, it was just fine. Not in a hurry to return when there are so many other great places to try.

I frequently bring in something extra for my son to eat along with the meal but we always purchase a child's meal for him. I have brought in fruit cups, yogurts or peanut butter crackers. We have eaten at Mexico, Morocco, Garden Grill, Germany and China (counter service).

Good Luck.
