Had a nice, quiet morning relaxing. Did get up at 7 to make a Peter Pan LL reservation then went back to bed. Eventually made my way over to TTC around noon. Just missed a ferry boat - perfect - that means it’s iced coffee time from the Joffries stand.
Somehow hit MK perfectly to take in all the streetsmosphere. Caught some of the Dapper Dans show, then the Casey’s Corner pianist, and then the marching band.
Rode Pirates, Under the Sea, Small World, Peter Pan, and Haunted Mansion before checking in early to my Jungle Skippers Cantina late lunch reservation.
Started with a
Jungle Bird cocktail (didn’t realize they had cocktails in addition to wine/beer now - nice touch). - features Gosling Black Rum, Campari, cane syrup, and pineapple and lime juices.

This was ok - it’s got a really bitter kick to it. Not my favorite cocktail ever, but my first cocktail in Magic Kingdom. So I’ll take it.
Veranda Fried Rice - Spicy chili-garlic shrimp served over pork fried rice with eggs and peas.

This is a great dish. Technically an appetizer, but large enough for lunch. Especially since I had my eye on a dessert.
Kungaloosh! - An African-inspired Chocolate Cake with caramelized bananas served with cashew-caramel ice cream topped with coffee dust.

This was excellent. Even better than I expected. Chocolate cake was very dense and rich.
Chardonnay
