Just looked at the Eat To The Beat schedule for our quick weekend at WDW next month and OMG Kool & the Gang!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (I am a child of the 70s and teenager of the 80s and I loved Kool and the Gang)

Anyway, I don't remember this from last year. Can you hear the concerts from nearby the AG Theatre in the WS or do we actually have to go in and sit down to hear the show? How far can you hear the music?

Thanks!!!!!!!!!

PS - If you see a short, blonde 30-something dancing to Kool and the Gang near the AG theatre on Oct. 13 with a 7yo DD dancing too, say hi!

You can hear it pretty much from anywhere near the American Adventure.

I'll be there for Kansas.
Kinda wish I was there for either the Commodores, Kool and the Gang or The Beach Boys.
But I've been to WS plenty of times when there are performances going on and you definitely don't have to be sitting in the amphitheatre to hear the music. BUt I wouldn't wander to far from the American Pavillion or it's surrounding pavillions. I mean, I wouldn't expect to hear anything in, say, Future World.
Besides, I actually called Disney to ask the same question b/c I was under the impression that you had to pay a seperate admission to "Eat to the Beat" but the guy told me there is no seperate admission and you can enjoy the music while strolling thru WS.
I'm really excited for that!
