Eat to the Beat Dining Plan Question

Hi everyone! I've been a WDW passholder for 4 years and this is my first time posting! I was wondering if anyone has had an experience with the Eat to the Beat dining package? I have been to a couple of the less popular shows and had no problem getting great seats because I waited in line. For the Boyz II Men show (I've heard horror stories on the lines for this one) I wanted to have guaranteed seats without wasting my day in line so I booked the dining package. Yesterday it came to my attention that there is FastPass availability for this show. I am wondering if there is a benefit beyond guaranteed seating by keeping my reservation with the dining package (which is pricey, and leaves us less room to graze the booths)? Is there a section of preferred seating that comes with the package? I'm having a hard time getting a clear answer! Thanks everyone!!

First, :welcome:

Second, no one knows how/if preferred seating for the dining packages will differ from preferred seating for FP+ and the sampler packages, because nothing has been announced on it yet and last year priority seating outside of the dining packages did not exist so far as I am aware.

Since you are sure that you want priority seating, the only known benefit for the dining package over FP+ for the concert is that you can use your FP+ for Soarin' or Test Track. But if you'd rather not have that large, pricey meal...go for FP+ or look into the sampler if you want to eat at the booths and get a pin.
