Why are they only booked for 2 or 3 nights?

Is it just to provide as much variety as possible?

I remember when the Flower Power Concerts(now Garden Rocks Concerts) were nightly, acts would perform as many as 5 nights.

I've been going to the concerts at both F&W and F&G festivals for a long time, like at least close to 15 years and although I think you may be correct that there may have been a few groups here and there that played 5 nights it definitely was not the norm or you may be talking about the first year or two of the festival which I don't think I attended.Pretty much for as long as I've been going to both festivals most groups played 2-4 nights.I totally disliked the switch to weekend only concerts for F&G as I used to like to see multiple groups on my trips which was impossible with the groups playing Fri-Sun.Now that I'm living right by the parks that's not really an issue but its still not as good as nightly shows.I'm going to try see if I can see every group at Wine and Dine this year, there's a couple I don't care much for or don't know but I'll try and see them anyways.

The last year for nightly Flower Power Concerts was 2008 and for the years of the nightly Flower Power Concerts there were always acts with 4 or 5 night runs mixed in unlike Eat To The Beat where EVERYBODY is either 2 or 3 nights.

Evidently they only schedule ETTB acts for 2 or 3 nights for purposes of variety, but Wilson Phillips is during my week and I sure would like to see them for 4 or 5 nights instead of 2 nights!:)
