You're kidding! Same thing happened to me....sorta. Ray and I had to take turns riding b/c of Seth. Ray went first and then I went, waited in line probably 10 minutes, then they get us up to load us in our vehicle or whatever. We wait and wait, then the guys comes out and says we're going to have to change vehicles. We were waiting to be loaded into another one when another CM down the way asked if there was a party of 3 waiting. I looked at the girl behind me and her mom, who I had talked to while waiting, and I said, "Right here!" So we were able to get on right then. I guess they're working out the kinks after the changes.

I started at gate A and moved to like G or something. It was almost like the CMs had no idea until the "pod did its thing" if it was going to work. It seemed to be tied into the seatbelt system because we had to do that a few times too. It was odd because we would just sit for a while and ready for it to start and then it seemed really long for us to sit before she came back with nothing happening. First and Second time - funny third time not so much.

Thursday Sept 29th

I woke up early. I know I had to get in a run before the 5K. I had been feeling awful the week before I left and my hips and the muscles that connect everything were not behaving.
It had also been hot during this week. I was getting worried. I felt better but I was worried if it didn’t cool down like it was predicted the humidity would get me.

In any event, I got ready and headed out. Not really looking at a map but realizing I could run through all three All Star resort pretty easily, I headed down a path and aimed for ASMu.

No pictures but I did go for a walk later and that time the camera came with me.

I used my Cardio Trainer app and ran 3.1 miles. I had to zig zag through the property twice but my luck was that I got to 3.1 miles near my building.
Showering and feeling better that I would make the run pretty easily, I set out for a park.

I guess I understand why they now let you off here instead of at the bus stop but, really?

I go through bag check and greet Bo.

I ended up getting to the park at about 9:20am.
My first order of business.

You see 2 FPs yet I only had one ticket. My wonderful Pluto AP was giving me issues. Yesterday at AK it was having trouble in the FP machines .
At TSM the CM took my card to get a FP and it failed … again. He tried again and finally used the “ backup FP” they give you when your card fails. However the FP came out from my AP as well the backup card and he gave me both.

Since I had gone for a run, I rushed out without eating, fully intending to go to Starring Rolls. The secret is out and Starring Rolls was hopping. I got my food, a cinnamon roll and an Iced coffee and at first tried to eat on a bench. Then I spotted the area over at the Brown Derby.

With comfy seats.

I am sure this is not really a secret spot but with he added comfort of comfy seats it will be on my list from now on.

As I ate, I noticed a mother /daughter team at the next table. I realized that one of them must post somewhere when the mom took a picture of the daughter holding up her pastry.

I only mention this because this would not be only time I saw them. Ever have that family or person that you seem to always be “with” at Disney? I have occasionally seem the same person a couple of times but this mother/daughter team would pop up again and again.

Now that my belly was satisfied but I time to kill- where should I head?

I could go for some of this warmth right now. I am sitting under a blanket, and I am thinking I will have some hot chocolate shortly. And winter has not even started.

I am hoping to get over to all three All-Stars for Christmas tree pictures next month. It has been a while since I've been at any of them. I kind of wanted to stay at Movies or Music for the Christmas trip, just for a change, but the others outvoted me for Pop.

We've learned some tricks for using the AP in the FP machine!! There are three things you can try that often help. One is to rub the black strip on a piece of clothing. Two is to bend the AP slightly along the black strip so that it's sort of sticking up. (Not actually making a fold but just slightly bend it.) And three is to put it into the FP machine upside down. I ALWAYS put it in upside down. The other two things I do only if it doesn't work the first time and more often than not, it will work!

I think the All Stars Resort complex is a great place to run because there is so much to see so the run goes fast. I've also run up to the McD's and back which makes a nice run when added to the rest of the paths.

Your breakfast looks great - caffeine and sugar. Yum!!!!!

So where to? Hmmmmmm - Star Wars???? 5 back to back rides on RnR or ToT? I give up!

We had what was probably our last beautiful day here for a while. We are getting what you have probably tomorrow.
I have a fire going again but I was lucky to spend most of the day outside,putting up decorations - cleaning some gutters ( while I was up there ) and tending to the deck.

Somehow the first time I stayed there I never realized how close all three were. We were in movies and stayed in the Mighty Ducks building. I thought we were so far away from the main building so I did walk to the Music food court and I think we even caught the bus there. I thought my closeness to Music was because I was sooo far away from Movies.
I guess walking with a then 10 and 7 year old made me think it was far.


Now running through all 3 not once but twice ... I know better.

To the McD! I guess it not that far but it always seems like it. It was not a bad run, more like an explorataion run. Since I stayed interior for the most part and just wandered around... running.

I honestly can't remember if I took the picture to remind me about the busses all dropping off at the end of the walk versus in the bus circle or because of that couple.

I guess for them it is one vote for the too far to walk catagory.

People watching, especially at MK is an attraction all it's own. Can be done anywhere is usually there is no line.
