Flame Tree BBQ is a really yummy QS - we like it because you can get foods other than the typical chix strips and burgers. We only ever eat there and pizzafari, which is also good and has minute maid frozen lemonade for dessert which is great on hot days

Le Celier and Coral Reef are two of our fave restaurants to go to. Le Celier is fabulous, and a family favorite. If you're able to get a, ADR there, you should try it - you won't be disappointed! Coral Reef is also delicious, and the atmosphere is amazing. I'm not sure how it ranks with others, but me and DBF really love it there. We're on the picky side when it comes to food so we've never tried anywhere else in Epcot and I'm not sure we will.

Sci-Fi gets a TON of mixed feelings, but personally I liked it. It's a fun theme, and the food is decent. The milkshakes are to die for! We really liked it and will be back, but from what I've heard it sounds like one of those places you have to try at least once and get your own feel for it :confused3

Crystal Palace is a cute buffet if you like the Pooh characters. Personally I like Chef Mickey's (Contemporary) more, but CP isn't bad.

Cosmic Ray's is DBF's fave QS place. They have the regular chix strips and burgers, but they also have roasted chix meals - very yummy!

As far as the others... I personally haven't done any of them. I've heard good things about Ohana and plan on trying that out next trip (hopefully August!!) I also have family that really likes Wispering Canyon, but I don't know much about it. Sorry I can't help with those, but good luck on making all your ADRs and enjoy your trip!

I stayed at The Poly in November and did Ohana's for Breakfast and Dinner. They were both yummy and we are picky New Yorkers lol! The dinner is very popular and GREAT for the kids..they have kiddie entertainment (coconut rolling contest, Konga line)..which is very cute. The breakfast there has Lilo and Stitch, Pluto and Mickey Mouse. Either choice is a good one....:wizard:

Thanks for your replies- I am hoping you can tell me which parks the following restaurants are closest to so that I will know where to eat when I am at certain parks- I don't want to be travelling all over for a meal- so will try to put that ADR at a time when I am at closest park- just not sure which is the closest park

TIA< JEN

We love Hoop Dee Doo (at Fort Wilderness) and usually do it on an AK day. It's pretty difficult to get to regardless of what park you hit that day.

Never done Ohana, but it's at the Polynesian. Makes sense to do it on a MK day since it's on the monorail loop.

Boma is at Animal Kingdom Lodge--a hop, skip, and a jump via bus from AK.

SKIP Pepper Market altogether. We ate there ONCE on a week+ vacation staying at Coronado Springs. Nothing was that good and it's much more expensive than any other CS meal you can get.

The Whispering Canyon meal wasn't the best of our Christmas 2006 week, but it's on our list to try again next Christmas. It's a boat ride away from MK (at Wilderness Lodge).

For me....

Flame Tree BBQ-while at AK - eh
Sci Fi- DS - eh
Coral Reef-Epcot - trying it soon
Sunshine Seasons- Epcot - good
Garden Grill- Epcot - eh. haven't tried it with newer menu, but eh.
Biergarten-Epcot - eh
Le Celler- Epcot -good, but my stomach didn't feel right after eating there last time...
CRT-MK - eh, not worth the money or the hassle. Plus you'll have to be agressive if you want an ADR there, dress correctly, wait for your table, and give a cc number to reserve. Don't blow off your ADR or you'll be charged!
Cosmic Rays- MK - probably the best QS in MK, but that's not saying much. At least this one has Ray to entertain!
Crystal Palace- MK - the best on your list so far. Though SS is good too.

Sounds like you like mostly American food. Maybe we have differnent tastes.

Hoop De Doo? - never did this
Ohana? - never did this one either - LOTS of meat!
Boma? - I really liked this, but not for everyone. Some selections are American, some are exotic. Be sure to order the fruit punch! Very refreshing! It's not on the dinner menu. It will replenish your vitamin C!
Pepper Market? - I haven't been in a few years 'cause we haven't stayed there. The food is a cut above other food courts, but it's also priced higher. We loved the fact that they had a fresh fruit/salad station! It's hard to find good produce while at WDW.
Whispering Canyon? - This is fun meal. The food is quite good, if very American. You'll also lose some time getting over there if you aren't staying there. It's fun to do on a non-park day, then walk around the resort after your meal.

I once thought I had this all worked out- then took a break from it for a while- now rethinking everything

Planning for WDW is like that....but don't stress. Nothing at WDW is truly BAD. (except maybe Tony's...) If these appealed to you initially, then go for it! REthinking can drive you nuts!

Flame Tree -- Animal Kingdom -- we eat here every visit -- I love the beans and pulled pork sandwich; DH likes the ribs
Sci-Fi -- Hollywood Studios -- haven't eaten here in 10 years. Stick to hamburgers. We loved the onion rings
Coral Reef -- Epcot -- another we haven't eaten at in years--better than Red Lobster--but not by much
Sunshine Seasons -- Epcot -- lots of different variety--one of our favorites
Garden Grill -- Epcot -- have not done in probably 15 years so no help there
Biergarten -- Epcot -- we love this buffet and do it every other year
LeCellier -- Epcot (Canada) -- our favorite -- not to be missed any visit in our book
CRT -- Magic Kingdom -- never have done -- we have boys who had no interest in Cinderella
Cosmic Rays -- Magic Kingdom -- we do not like, we prefer Columbia Harbour House
Crystal Palace -- Magic Kingdom -- another of our not to be missed on any visit. We love the breakfast here -- especially the puffed french toast and the visits from Tigger, Pooh, Eeyore and Piglet

We have never done Hoop, Ohanas (since they changed from Minnie's Menehue Breakfast--we don't like Stitch), Boma or Whispering Canyon (we tried to do Boma and Whispering Canyon last year but we could not get an ADR). We stay at the CSR so we eat breakfast or lunch at the Pepper Market at least twice, if not more, a visit. The portions are very large and the food has always been good, if not outstanding. We weren't crazy for hamburgers, but love the waffles, the sweets, the caesar salad, etc.
