Great thread! Joining in....
Last night made a huge pot of chili and cornbread. We'll eat it again for lunch today, plus prob one workday lunch for DH and I, and a gallon in the freezer.
Tonight we'll eat pizza out with friends.
Tomorrow, no knead bread ( which I figure costs me about 25 cents a loaf) and pasta with chanterelles-DH and DD picked yesterday.
Later this week, the last of our tomatoes into fresh pasta sauce. Also a pork tenderloin with either apple butter or plum chutney, canned this summer. Got 4 tenderloins at Costco yesterday for $17. I'll serve mashed cauliflower with that, which costs a couple bucks and the kids love it (won't eat cauliflower otherwise).
 aboard!

about the pasta. I did the same thing 2 weeks ago, Ronzoni was .57/box and that was for all the kind of pasta except lasagna noodles and shells for stuffing. I even got orzo and pastina and alphabets! I bought at least 20 boxes but for .57 cents I had to do it! So yeah I'm all set for the winter too!

I know I shouldn't judge but I couldn't help myself. I felt even more proud of my crockpot soup because a few months ago I would have been in the drivethru line right behind her!
