Hi Gang! hope everyone is doing well.. both with menu planning and health wise..
I was sick sunday night thru yesterday - fell 50/50 today so I'm back at work.. I think it was the flu or maybe it had something to do with the party food I had sunday afternoon..

this week it's just me and Hubs..

so last night Hubs made hot chicken sandwiches with all leftovers that I took out of the freezer - chicken, stuffing, cranberry sauce, gravy and bread! Love shopping out of the freezer..
tonight the Hubs will have a chicken pot pie and biscuit from the freezer and I'll have L/L coconut chicken tenders and Mac and Cheese from the freezer
Wednesday will be shake and bake pork nuggets, egg noodles with parm and garlic salt green beans and carrots
Thursday will be leftover cheeseburgers from the freezer and chips
Friday will be Spareribs (from the freezer LOL) Rice and L/O green beans and carrots
Sat night we will eat out - chinese for Hubs (as he didn't get this last weekend) and IDK for myself maybe KFC or BK - i don't get those very often.
Sunday homemade baked beans and rolls/loaf of bread ..

onto the short week!
DS will be home so it'll be for 3 all week (DD comes home on Wednesday but splits her time between her dad and myself)
Monday - Shepards Pie
Tuesday - Shake N Bake Chicken nuggets
Wednesday - Pizza Night
Thursday Thanksgiving!!!! YUM... We need to make a pumpkin cheesecake and green bean casserole..
Friday, Sat and likely Sunday - all leftovers or sandwiches..

We're having spaghetti and meatballs, garlic bread, and salad. Maybe some banana bread for dessert.

Dear Diary :rotfl:

I have really been living off my pantry and freezer for the last week. I had to go grocery shopping once and spent $30 on veggies, boneless chicken breast, clearance pork roast...We had pulled pork sandwiches Friday. I made chicken chop suey last night.

Good news, we found a new Gastro doctor for my youngest DD and she started some new medication to help her with her reflux. She was sick for a long time and had her gall bladder out in July.

Tonight was tuna casserole. I made a lemon flavored cake with a lemon glaze for dessert. I am planning my Thanksgiving menu. We normally deep fry our turkey but are thinking about a brine recipe from Alton Brown this year. My daughter wants me to make my pumpkin cheesecake.:thumbsup2

Another busy week this week! I have school 1-8PM Mon. and Tues. and work Wed., Thurs (Breaking Dawn 2), Fri.

Monday is going to be a soup day: Sausage and Northern Bean soup
Tuesday hot dogs
Wednesday hopefully grocery shopping

I didn't see that earlier. Reflux is awful. I hope the new medication will do the trick for your DD and she gets some relief.

Monday: chicken and ham sandwich on thin pumpkin bagel, celery with almond butter, apple with white cheddar (the "can't be bothered, but still gotta eat" meal)
Tuesday: Brunswick stew from the freezer, corn muffin, frozen berries
Wednesday: Macaroni with ham, peas and carrots in an evaporated milk "cream" sauce, citrus salad
Thursday: same as Wednesday
Friday: waffles and turkey sausage, blueberries and rice porridge
Saturday: eating late lunch out with friends, will probably skip dinner or just have a bowl of oatmeal, dried fruit and nuts if I get hungry late at night
Sunday: slow cooker tomato and beef cubes, cajun-spiced cheese grits, succotash and boozeless bananas foster. This might change, depending on how ambitious I feel about making a big dinner on Sunday.

Wednesday - Hubs is going to see his mom to get his new iphone 4, and I will be working late and will have a Cheeseburger (from the freezer) before I run to the High School Ice Hockey mtg..
Thursday will be shake and bake pork nuggets, egg noodles with parm and garlic salt green beans and carrots (moved from Wed)

the rest likely remains the same..
