We DID have grilled cheese sammies with cream of mushroom soup last night for dinner. I never came up with another meal idea so we used the above as a fallback.

I made buns and homemade turkey noodle soup today and DH and I had that for lunch. So yummy.

I'm doing chick peas in the crockpot right now so I can do up a bean soup tomorrow. (I did the broth up a couple of weeks ago using a ham bone and I froze it).

Tonight for dinner we had quesadillas and tacos with nachos and cheese. DH left just enough for me to have it again tomorrow for my lunch...he's taking the rest of the turkey noodle soup. :thumbsup2

Tomorrow night we're having ham and salad but I haven't worked out the other side dish yet...maybe instant mashed potatoes?

Tonight will be a free day. My mom still has a ton of left overs from her takeout last night. So I only have to worry about myself. Tomorrow night I may just cook up the smoked sausage I had for the Jambalaya and find something else in my cabinet to go with it. I don't know yet though. We will see!

Dear Diary :rotfl:

I have really been living off my pantry and freezer for the last week. I had to go grocery shopping once and spent $30 on veggies, boneless chicken breast, clearance pork roast...We had pulled pork sandwiches Friday. I made chicken chop suey last night.

Good news, we found a new Gastro doctor for my youngest DD and she started some new medication to help her with her reflux. She was sick for a long time and had her gall bladder out in July.

Tonight was tuna casserole. I made a lemon flavored cake with a lemon glaze for dessert. I am planning my Thanksgiving menu. We normally deep fry our turkey but are thinking about a brine recipe from Alton Brown this year. My daughter wants me to make my pumpkin cheesecake.:thumbsup2

Another busy week this week! I have school 1-8PM Mon. and Tues. and work Wed., Thurs (Breaking Dawn 2), Fri.

Monday is going to be a soup day: Sausage and Northern Bean soup
Tuesday hot dogs
Wednesday hopefully grocery shopping

Tomorrow: baked Tacos

Weds: chicken parm, garlic rolls

Thursday: eggs, bacon, toast!

Trying to eat down my freezer in preparation for Thanksgiving:

Tonight:

Monday: baked halibut, leftover broccoli, saffron rice

Tuesday: Chicken Tikka Masala, rice, and peas

Wednesday: Ham and scalloped potatoes, green beans

Thursday: pea soup, rolls

Friday: dinner out (sushi in Anchorage)

Last night we ended up with ham and cheese sliders with fruit

Tonight we had leftovers/fend for yourself as I fell asleep and napped when I got home from work.
