Good morning all! Life is still crazy here with a three month old who eats every two hours during he day and does not nap but she sleeps through the night so I guess well take it :thumbsup2

So we went out to dinner Friday night with a friend and oh my my poor husband had a allergic reaction to the dessert and we had to rush home and grab the Benadryl just in time too his tongue was twice the normal size now dh does not want to eat out for a long time  ( by the way he is allergic to any and all alcohol so u ink it would be easy to avoid but the place doused his fried ice cream in barcardies 151 and it did not burn off :scared1:)

So yesterday I did not have time to food shop so we ate pasta and sauce

For breakfast today I made egg tacos not bad when your fridge is so bare you can see everything inside

Going shopping in a little will post later busy weekend mothers day is also our baby 's dedication so lunch is at our house lots of catering!

What a fantastic thread!
When I look over our expenses, it always makes me crazy when we spend our money on eating out. Well, when it's for a special or social occasion, it's a lot of fun, otherwise it just seems like such a waste! I'd much rather spend my money on a restaurant at the parks! So count me in on this fun thread!

Here's what I've planned for the week. We'll see how it goes (so far so good).

Monday - chicken + salad
Tuesday - dinqo de mayo leftovers
Wednesday - baked chicken + pasta w/veg and white sauce
Thursday - chili (while there's still some chill in the air)
Friday - make it yourself pizzas for me and dd
Saturday - meatloaf in the crockpot, mashed potatoes and some veg (probably frozen corn)
Sunday - it's mother's day! i don't know what we're doing but i'm not cooking!

Thanks for all the awesome meal ideas, people! I'm inspired to whip up some menus for the future. Keep them coming! :cool1:
