I have seen lots of threads on the subject of storage and back up for photos but what do all of you use to document your equipment for insurance purposes? I came across this free download to not only inventory and document all your equipment but for your whole household. There was a blurb about it in the magazine I get from my auto insurance company. The site is knowyourstuff.org (*** note its .org not .com) They of course hope you will subscribe to their service to keep all your data with them but the download for the program is free and very easy to use. It all can then be saved to cd and kept in a separate location without the purchase of their service. The program allows you to inventory your whole house room by room using pictures and receipts to document.
