Easy enough to leave resort and pick up 'incoming' at the airport?

Hey, Gail...I'm female and I love maps. Give me a good atlas and I'm in heaven.

My sister is the same and so is my oldest son's girlfriend.

For my sister and I it might have something to do with the fact that our father who was a Navy pilot in WWII and an ee in "real life" made a game out of which direction we were heading. After each curve or turn on longer trips, he'd ask "which direction are we headed?" Nothing like sibling competition to get you to pay attention.

Of course, I have been known to stop and ask for directions after all else has failed.

You know, you are never too old to learn. Any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated, then..... Cigar would not think me a total loser.

Gail, maybe you should gift yourself with a nifty GPS, they are perfect for the directionally impaired.

I have a really accurate inner compass, and I've been reading maps since before I could read words. I take after Dad's side of the family, they are all commercial fishermen. ( If you think that regular road maps are obscure, you should try nautical charts; those are a really fun challenge!)

I don't think it's a gender thing; some people just have it, and some people don't. My DH says that the most accurate indicator of whether or not I'm ill is that I tend to lose my sense of direction.

LOL, possibly true, but, where is the challenge in that?
