Easy access pass

Hello,

Not long now for our trip and I wondered if anyone could help me.

Is the easy access pass only for wheechair bound guests or can it also be for people who have difficulty standing for long periods. My sister has rheumatoid arthritis and as we're going in what I would think will be a busy time, reduced standing would help a grat deal.

Yoo don't need a wheelchait the card is for many differnt handicaps and illnesses, you need a medical attest from your Dr. or a blue badge.

the easy access has now been updated, and u can get issued with a card for various conditions - depending on the problem, depends on what benefits u can get....
u will definatly need a drs letter issued within the last 3 months or a disabled parking badge (but i wud get the letter, as that can detail the problems).

cant give you any more info, as not used this new system yet, but do know it is very limiting on how many ppl can go with the 'disabled' person, sumtimes it can only b 1....

The doctors note requirement seems strange. Here in America, they can't even ask for one at theme parks.

It's to avoid fraud as otherwise people (would/do) abuse the system and those who really need assistance get left behind

Don't know why I've never thought of trying for the pass for past trips. Standing has always been a problem but she's just struggled before. As I don't do coasters (wimp) it'll be my sis and hubby for the big rides so only one extra person will be fine.

So happy she'll be in a little less pain for the trip and able to enjoy the experience more.
