Yes!!!
After your help we finally booked our cruise....Eastern 7 days leaving feb 19th...I am soooo excited!!
Now I need to choose the shore excursions.
Should I book them before I get on the cruise?
And wich ones are the best?
I would like to go snorkeling on one of the shore excursion..st-marteen or st-johns and relax on the other one. In CC I will do the massage on the beach.

So many options..thank god this board is here to help!!!

My primary piece of advice....If you have daughters and are planning on getting their hair braided...make an appointment on the ship first thing so it will be done before you hit the islands. In St.Maarten, we had so many women approaching us and our daughters. I'm talking almost 100. They were quite aggressive and even followed us to the beach. It prompted us to head back to the ship only an hour after disembarking. If you plan on shopping, I highly suggest St.Thomas over St.Maarten. To us, it just seemd nicer, cleaner, friendlier. We also took a tour of the island in an open air taxi. It was a lot of fun. We got to see all of the different beaches. We were shown where President Clinton, Barbara Streisand, Michael Jordan, etc. stay when they're on the island. It's a trip too beacuse you're driving on the left side of the road the entire time. Once we got off of the ship and were tendered in, we went towards the blue tents....flea market area. Directly behind that area, we found a nice group of American men who were running the Island tours. We paid $20 per adult, $10 for one child (10)....the other two were free (8 and 6). Word has it that the St.John excursion is really fun but doesn't allow a great deal of time for water activities since the ship leaves port at around 4:30, I think. One more thing...I did see a group of Disney cruisers headed out on a very large catamaran at St. Maarten. That looked like fun.

I hope this helps a little.

My DH, DS (11 at the time of the cruise) and I, did SNUBA on St. Thomas at Coki Beach. It was great. It also included admission to Coral World which is adjacent to Coki Beach. The same company also offers SNUBA on St. Johns. During our cruise, we had to skirt a topical storm. The water wasn't very clear and the currents were too strong for us to explore the ocean side of the reef off Coki Beach. Our owner/guide felt so bad she gave us a CD of the underwater pictures she took, free. Here is the web site.SNUBA

Through Disney we did the Golden Eagle Catamaran at St. Maarten. Again the water was choppy and it was windy. The captain took us to a different cove to snorkel which was on the french side. My DS had a great time sitting on the canvas in the front of the catamaran and getting soaked by the waves.

Do the DOUBLOON Sail and Snorkle on St. Thomas. It is so much fun! (Disclaimer: I'm not sure who you are travelling with- only 5 and up are allowed on this excursion.)

The crew is absolutely hilarious (they are a little rowdy- which we thought was fun) and they took us out (with a guide) to a great snorkle spot over a shipwreck and then a reef area. On the way back, they cranked up the Jimmy Buffet tunes, served absolutely yummy adult and child drinks (watch out for those Mind Benders and Pain Killers!) and just sailed.

All of the kids had a chance to help crew by steering the boat and raising the sails which mine thought was great fun!

It was a great time and was the highlight of our trip!

Eight thumbs WAY up for the Doubloon Sail and Snorkle excursion on St. Thomas!!!! pirate: pirate: pirate: pirate:
