We're trying to choose between the Eastern and the Western Carribean cruises. If it makes any difference, we're looking at the fall: October or November, most likely. Anyone care to share an opinion? Thanks in advance for any information you can throw my way!

Mrs. Pete,

Just to let you know our thought process. We chose Western for two reasons.

1. It has one more day in port. We cruised one other time and only had 3 days in port and we got a little bored (it was not a DCL). We thought it would be great to see one more place. We are very active travelers and are more certainly goers and doers than pool sitters! Before I get flamed, I know there is a ton of stuff to do on board during at sea days, but since we haven't experience a DCL cruise yet, we thought better safe than sorry.

2. Friends of ours went of a four day last year and were contemplating signing for a seven day this year. The cruise director told them that she would recommend the Western.

I know other people prefer the Eastern because of the extra day at sea. I am sure it depends on your personality. Plus there are a lot of enjoy them both. Who knows!

By the way, we are on the November 8th Western sailing, Me, (40), DH (42) DS (9) and DD (4). Maybe we'll see you there!
