Hi there- the group is called disney fantasy eastern carribean oct 5th 2013or alternatively it is "mum2hope" who is organising it- you could send her a pm.

OMG, so funny. I thought we were the only family that talked about the Disney Cruise everyday!! People who have never cruised Disney really don't understand. We have been on only a mere 5 times and this will be our "Gold Member" cruise. We think that is so special as we know there are families that will never see the inside of a Disney ship.

Can't wait any longer, but as cooler weather comes to Arizona...lol high 90's. I will turn off the air conditioning and start baking again. We do not turn on the oven during the summer. You can just open the front door of your home and you would know why. This will help pass the time till the cruise. We are making homemade soft pretzels for the plane ride. It's not as far as some but still an all day trip.

If I told you that this cruise has been a part of our everyday conversation since we booked over 2 years ago, I would quickly be corrected. My family would be quick to point out that it (or a Disney cruise in general) has been a part of our daily conversation since half way through our last cruise. Which by the way was also #4. Making this our gold cruise as well.

Side note: even as we plan for this cruise, we are already starting to talk about our next Disney World trip.

Disney is never far from our thoughts

I hope I am not pestering Pixiehallow. I have read most of this ENTIRE post but still need to ask ... I do not know how to contact Pontiuspython to try to get on the latecomer FE list. How can I get on the "list" (if I can still get on the list)? My kids really want to participate this time around and the more I read, the more excited I'm getting too. Any info would be much appreciated! Are there rules against adding to other FEs if we cannot officially participate? Thanks!

The Schnaps for the Meet'n'Greet was delivered today.

Now the only thing left to buy is 4lbs of Dutch cheese (Old Gouda). I asked the Dutch innkeeper of the B&B we're staying at for a week before the cruise if he'd like us to bring anything from Europe and he spontaneously asked for aforementioned dairy product. Obviously good cheese like that is not easily available in the US (I hope there's no-one from Wisconsin in our group who's now offended) and so we'll buy some on the day before we fly and pack it in a collapsible cooler.

Tropical weather update:
Humberto is heading straight for Iceland - very strange and unusal, but really good for the UK and Continental Europe.
Mexico is getting another heavy beating by the remnabts of Ingrid and another new system hanging over Yucatan.
Florida and all our Ports-of-Call are safe for the time being. Let's hope it's gonna stay this way for the next weeks!

I just received a question about the PAT on the group page....

Here is how I answered....

PAT stands for Port Arrival Time.

If you have not already started your online check in, I
would advice doing it soon. The sooner you complete the
online check in, the better PAT you will get.

They assign you a time to arrive at the port as part of your
online check in.

I'm glad to know I won't be the only emotional one onboard. You'd think by now (after 13 Disney cruises) I'd be able to hold it together, but ohhhhh no. I tear up when I see the ship while crossing the big bridge, I can hardly breathe when we approach the ship, I cry when they announce our name, I tear up when the ship starts pulling away from the port, and a couple of the stage shows do me in, as well. They're all "good" cries... unlike the one at the end of the cruise when DH is practically dragging me off the ship.
