I can see myself crying in all these occasions too!

You can add the Birthday celebration at dinner time for both my boys, so yeah... I don't plan to wear too much make up (or people might think I'm all set for Halloween).

I'm glad to know I won't be the only emotional one onboard. You'd think by now (after 13 Disney cruises) I'd be able to hold it together, but ohhhhh no. I tear up when I see the ship while crossing the big bridge, I can hardly breathe when we approach the ship, I cry when they announce our name, I tear up when the ship starts pulling away from the port, and a couple of the stage shows do me in, as well. They're all "good" cries... unlike the one at the end of the cruise when DH is practically dragging me off the ship.

Thanks for the PAT-info.

I just checked and our PAT is 130-2pm, which is fine for us. The earliest regular time to have breakfast served at the B&B we're staying at before the cruise is 830am, but we'll try to convince the innkeeper to serve it at 8am. Then it's a 3hour-drive down to the port, a visit the DU Welcome Center, returning our convertible and taking the shuttle to the terminal. So we should arrive at 1pm +/- 30 minutes.

We received some bad news today: Our gym will close for good on 12/31
So after the cruise we'll have to start looking for a new one, which means spending many hours doing trial work-outs, negotiating fees, etc.
Our gym's lease for their rooms wasn't renewed and they weren't able to find a new location in the vicinity.

I believe we'll just get into the terminal sooner. The hold-up is always that the ship needs to clear customs before the next batch of passengers is allowed to board.

DCL's terminal used to open at 10am and DCL listed a boarding time of 1pm. However, boarding almost always beings by noon - an example of DCL's goal to always exceed expectations. About a year ago, the Port Authority changed DCL's terminal opening to 11am. The shorter terminal time, combined with two larger-capacity ships caused DCL to initiate "Port Arrival Times" in order to help manage the influx of eager cruisers.

I'm hoping it means we get on earlier as well. Our last cruise was a back to back, and we were able to get back on the boat by 10:30.
Even though we had just spent several days on board, there were still things we had not yet discovered. Those extra hours of exploration paid off with great new finds. I am looking forward to the same opportunities this time.

Yup, but to be honest it's a minor problem for us when compared to all the employees, who now need to find a new job
We already started looking for a new gym and found two we're gonna check out after our return from the States. As we spend at least four evenings per week working out, we need to choose wisely

The buses are reserved for 9am-4pm, with the option of one bus returning to the ship a little sooner than the other. Nothing has been said about a meeting place yet. Since Lea set this up for us, we should let her set a meeting place.

I have been trying to contact her for the last week and a half about this. I asked if she could get us a quick note about all of the details.
I know they have an extra long vacation. And will be here in the states for a while before we set sail. So, I am thinking they may have already left home. If so, we may have to wait to talk with her until embarktion day.

Would love this feedback too. I would like to get off the ship and explore a bit but also want to have some sort of idea. Would like to take the girls to a beautiful family beach as well.
